De gea had a unsatisfied things in his first year in MU..
before he comes to Manchester, many people predicted he will become the number one..
but in the fact, he must compete with Andres lindergaard and ben amos for getting a number one position every week..
and it become speculation that Sir Alex ferguson did not trust him 100 percent..
Why De Gea is failed ??
anyone else reason??
but i read too that De gea want to be next Schmeichel and he believe he had ability for it..
what do you think about de gea in his first year in MU??

He's still young and there are not much young goalkeepers whom made a name for themselves at that age except for Iker casillas. Casillas was pushed to action when he's young and with the faith both club, and national manager kept in him, that's how he survived through the years, accumualating valuable experience along the way. If de Gea wants to be next schmeichel, he has to prove he can do it, and not let mistakes affect his morale.

yes De Gea is still young..
he is goalkeeper in Spain u23 which winner in world cup u23..
so his ability is really good
But for being a main goalkeeper in senior team in Spain, he needs a time
but if he can adapt well in MU, its one of his way to be a number one in senior team, if Casillas will be retiring someday

I think De Gea has a long way to go before he can be like Schmeichel. First he needs to stop flapping at balls from corners and free kicks. I think he does not inspire confidence in the defenders the way he goes for the ball and then flaps and misses it!! He is good shot stopper, but to be a top top goal keeper like Schmeichel, he has a long way to go.
Cheers!

Fergie himself said that De Gea still adapting the way Premier League play. Cause it rather different than in La Liga.
Well, do hope that's true. And hopefully De Gea will get more speed in adapting the way Premier League play.
Schmeichel? It's still a long way. Just hope De Gea will stand hold in Old Trafford

Although personally I prefer Lindegaard, De Gea should be given more time to settle down and to show what he can do - this applies to Lindegaard too! Don't we forget that this is only their first season in EPL. I remember even the great Peter Schmeichel let in a few silly goals in his first season in 1991 but he went on to help Manchester United won almost all the football honors and he himself became a legend. I think Manchester United will be happy to have 2 join-first choice keepers next season.
