yup. you got that one right. it is one of the signs of the near coming of Christ. the Bible says that in the last days there will many calamities, hunger, war and epidemics but mind you some or maybe most of this are the works of man. particularly the Illuminati. they do this for the fulfillment of a new world order. even some of our calamities are artificially made. I don't know about you guys but that is what I know because that's what I have read and what has been revealed to us by our church leaders. All we could do now for the meantime is to pray for everyone.

SO what you are saying is the coming of Christ has been happening for thousands of years now. If you go back in recorded history you can find records as far back as ancient texts regarding famine and war. Do we for get there has been 2 world wars several droughts and countries that have always been so poor they cannot feed themselves. Prophecies are easily enough obtained you only need to say what you already know as truth. Man will always be at war the weather and earthquakes will always happen. Here i will Prophesize right now. In the next week there will be a day where millions of people will love each other and yet there will still be countries at war and people that are hungry.

I have heard this myth of there being more and more catastrophes and that its a biblical prophecy. If you look at scientific numbers there is no collation with that. Sure the number of reported incidences are a lot higher but we are now using technology that can detect every single bump and growl the earth makes. If there was an end of days scenario there would be thousands more occurring per day. There is just no credible evidence that the weather has changed so drastically that we need worry about the end of the earth. as far as war there is less war now then there was several hundred years ago when the ancient civilizations would go to war trying to conquer each other. If you think about it when was the last time we lost a whole civilization due to war. Everyone is paranoid because of religious fanatics that blow every little thing out of proportion. My yard flooded it must mean the end of days is coming. Enjoy what life gives you and need not worry. If there is a supreme being that is all knowing and all forgiving then when the time comes everyone will be safe.

Why should there be concern about things you cannot control? Sure you can be concerned about the people that was effected. I just don't get the whole freak out now a days about the end of days coming. You should never worry about what might happen as much as you should worry about what has already happened.

So what you saying is Jesus second coming will bring with him all these calamities before hell descend upon earth, is that for real?? That is so cool! Everyone is awared of the calamity happened some where every now and then, but some how never claim it is because of bible prophecy except mother nature way to warn those simple minded to take good care of their only habitat in the universe, men incessantly polluting our earth need to be stopped before too late, not because of Jesus is near you.

Calamities and disasters have been recorded in history some even more catastrophic than those that we have recently suffered from. Almost all countries have had their share of tragic calamities like Japan and recently Peru and not to forget the recent earthquake in the Visayas. Nobody is aware of the calamities that will happen and we are helpless to control it. Some of the calamities are not actually caused by nature but are manmade like the Sendong. There was no strong typhoon actually but the denudation of the forests due to illegal logging that caused the floods. Even the damages resulting from Ondoy was not due to the rains but the irresponsibility of people in throwing their trash in the waterways. Prophesies on the coming of Jesus Christ almost always spreads after a calamity. Should it happen, nobody knows when not even the Son of God Himself or the angels in heaven. If the end is near, then there is not better way but be prepared in heart and in spirit.

Well a simple answer would be, is the world has fallen and getting old and like everything, nothing on earth will last forever, so it is literally falling apart.

This could be a reminder for those believers. Partly it's human fault. let's take for example the latest landslide that happened in Iligan City. Who's to be blame for deforestation-people cutting all the tress for new subdivision. Who is to be blame for this climate change- what happened to our ozone layer? It's not all about the coming of Jesus- yes, the prophecy will come- no one knows. But,we, us human beings must know how to take care of our natural resources as well.

Yes, I am very much aware of the calamities nowadays. People are so paranoid that they believe that it's gonna be the "End of the World". In my opinion, I don't believe on it, Was it really written on the bible?. It is just a wake up call for us People to care for our environment. This kind of phenomenon is just a message to measure our faith.

This is what they call as "End Times" as mentioned above by some friends here. It's God's warning that we have to be alert and ready when the time comes...

Well regarding these calamities the Philippines is not the only country that we should take a look at. For some reason there have been reports that some countries are having difficulties on national disasters. The government should save extra funds in these happenings as well as having rescue teams undergoing extra alertness. Believers always say that God is starting to end the world because of these calamities, but i think it was natures revenge that took the lives of a lot of people. We should always be careful when it comes to garbage disposal, tree cutting and pollution. By helping each other we would be able to come up to good ideas and projects to decrease these calamities.
