Good day Fellow Mylotters, I am now on my second month of my weight loss program. As I need to do this since I have gained a lot during the Christmas Season which was last December. As part of my food diet scheme, I am not taking a heavy breakfast since I cannot resist to take a lunch during mid-day. So I am just taking a mug of coffee during morning and a piece of thin slice bread. Then I will take a brunch, which is a combination of breakfast and lunch around 11 or 11:30. And I really find this effective. As I am not feeling hungry until I take my dinner around evening time.

I'm glad to know that you have found a diet that is effective for you. It is really hard to lose weight. I have read that another way to lose weight is to take in little amount of food more frequently during the day than to eat three meals a day.

did that help you in loosing weight? i have started gaining weight post my second delivery and i had to change my routine because of the running around after my kids.I skip my lunch or have very little meal, but still i see no result.i can skip a complete meal though because i need lot of energy to take care of my hyper active kids.and cant afford to squeeze time out for exercise/gym.can anyone suggest me something?

Congratulations on working on a weight loss challenge for yourself. I think it really is nice to have some snacks or a light meal such as Brunch during the day so you don't wind up binge eating later on when you have a much bigger meal to eat. I try to eat some light and healthy foods as a snack during the day like fruits so that I can stave off hunger.

they say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it boosts you and gives you energy to do work. there are already programs that suggest not skipping a meal. it is more about moderation. as far as i can remember it is 3Ms and i can't remember the other two.

"Brunch" yes it is a combination of Breakfast and Lunch.Good that u made your self having this to have a weight loss.Hope u lose weight and take your proper diet .Breakfast is very important but it should be not that heavy that it not let anyone to have lunch on time.So light breakfast and on time lunch and evening snacks with a timely dinner can be a good diet for a person to be healthy.

Hi!I think brunch is not good. Your body needs some nutrients. Eat fruits in the morning and evening and enough food n lunch. Plus have a one cheat day where you eat all the foods you want. Coupled with exercise you will be able to achieve your desired weight. Just be constant and disciplined.:)

Just to ask. How much did you loose for the two months? I read newsletter regardng weight-loss. It was entitled "Eat More Food, Loose More Weight". It says that you can eat more and still loose weight. Sound conflicting, right? I wrote it on my blog (chemist9861.blogspot.com). There is a meal guide for the whole day. You can still loose weight without skipping any meals. Try to visit..
