Can I take it?

I want to ask you all one thing. When I write articles for myself - not for clients, I see quite similar discussions here. I have never copy-pasted though. Now, I want to ask, can I use the part of the content if I spot similar discussions here? Can I take EXACTLY the content as it it - like we copy past for EC? Does mylot allow such responses and pay them too?

I never agree with any kind of copasser -people who copy content from others, because they not only kill their creativity but also turn them to be lazy people.as we know that Mylot Guideliness has try to protect our discussion from duplication by deleting duplicate discussion. for me it's fair enough, sooner or later the copasser will realize that they do not have place in mylot -if they continue to be the idea stealer here.if they can't make their original discussion, they should not start it.we may easily find duplicate or similar discussion here, but we also have right to not response that discussion..

I think, either I have not expressed myself correctly, or the responses that I have got haven't come as they should. I mean, you are reading between the lines and you had your own notions when responding. I said the things that "I WRITE ELSEWHERE IF MATCH WITH DISCUSSIONS HERE". I am neither copying anyone else's work nor am I putting them on the web. Your response is nowhere near what I expected from friends to respond. Most of the responses have been given after own thoughts and most importantly, after reading between the lines.

sorry, abhie, some responder give you different point of view and out of expectation. but now I got the point!! of course, if you find such as interisting ideas that give you some inspiration then ask your curiousity, you can take it and modify it. I think it's different case, you just take the idea then do what can do with your own hand

Well now on your discussion regarding copy paste content, i never do this because its not in my nature at all, if i still see many discussion in same nature i will reply to that discussion with my way only... Also my lots not pay you the copy paste work at all, you have to reply the discussion and also the quality of the discussion is matter...

Even I don't understand why one should term this as a shortcut? Considering how busy content writers generally are - I am not talking about myself, but in general, shortcuts are indeed necessary. Look at these things as smart work and not short cuts. When 24 hours aren't sufficient in a day, smart work is what is the need of hour. As far as hard work is concerned, don't know about others, but I have been taking loads of efforts and catering to the demands of three clients on a daily basis. So, if I find a shortcut, I don't think I am doing anything wrong or illegal. And because I shouldn't do anything illegal, that is exactly why I have raised this question here. Please don't take any of this personally. As you spoke in general in your first para above, so did I. I appreciate the way you respond to the discussions here. I always read your responses with care and they are really filled with some information always.

I think you can do so copy-paste EXACTLY the part/s of the discussion that you want to copy-paste but this should be treated as reference. This way, you have to give credit to the original writer or thread starter so you won't offend anybody.

In other words - your own, written words - owned by you - not given for money earned to someone else for a website? An article you wrote that is relevant to a discussion here, correct? I did that once. It was in reference to someone who was asked a certain question on a job interview, and wondered what might have been a better response than the one she actually gave. The question was along with lines if you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be, then why? I have written an article on that for Gather a few months previously - exactly that - and because it was mine, owned by no one else (Gather does not buy the content) I copied and pasted the part that had my answer to the question. The content was mine, owned by me, and my original work. So I saw nothing wrong with it. It never got deleted and was actually marked as "best response".

I think it's not ok.. Look at the mylot guidelines in myLot navigation bar.. There is a rule there in don'ts: Post similar or identical postings. Stealing post from other users or posting the same thing over and over again willnot help your mylot earnings. Multiple identical postings, even if legitimate, may be considered spam.. For more info go to mylot guidelines.. There is the do's and don't in there..

You don't seem to get my point. I didn't ask about posting similar or identical content, let alone stealing it. I suppose, I write a certain piece of article, let's say on EC. If I find similar discussion here, can I copy-paste the content in question if it refers to the same topic. Of course, I will not be taking each word as is it. Only the part of the article that matches with the discussion. Why I am asking this is because, when I write a certain article, I can be my own thoughts. We do the same here. Whatever we speak through discussions, those are our very own thoughts. I hope, now I have passed over the message correctly.
