kyaa!! I have never been hooked into a book like Suzanne Collins'. It really is no wonder why It had become an international bestseller. Hunger Games is a really great YA book what with its ambitious plot and awe-inspiring and striking characters. I really love the concept of having to choose between to kill or being killed. The book has really taught me how to be hungry over a really addictive book that you simply cannot put down. with that I am already crazy about the upcoming movie adaptation with Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. I think they made a good casting. but the book itself is enough to satisfy your craving for mystery, adventure, action, drama, romance and adrenalin- rushing scenes rolled into one. hands down to this book!!!

I was a bit upset that they were cast a Caucasian woman to play Katniss, actually in the audition sheet they producers said "white girls only" Catnis is supposed to be a Multiracial girl, there are so many talented Multiracial girl in Hollywood. But you know Hollywood is not confident to give lead roles to people of color. Many Novels with Asian Male protagonist were turned causasian in movies. I dont really mind if they make White woman play katniss but the audition sheets indicating "white girls only" when the character is Multiracial is kinda a let down. I will still watch the movie and I already accepted Hollywood always favor Caucasian actors and actresses, well sometimes they give leads to Blacks and some Hispanics some lead roles but its rare.
