Its quite common seeing lots of people celebrating valentine's day. Usually during this occasion most restaurants would full of customers because almost everyone would like to celebrate this occasion especially for those who are in a relationship. Me myself don't have a reason to celebreate valentines since im also far way from my family and currently not also in a relationhip. But some people also say that Valentine's day is not only for people who are in a relationhip but it is also for single people to celebrate. What do you think about this? Do you also celebrate Valentines day? Do you think Valentines day is also for singles? Thanks for your insights.

I don't think celebrating Valentine's Day is important for a relationship. If you are in a great relationship, then every day can be your own Valentine's Day. I don't see much meaning of going in a crowded restaurant with chocolates and flowers. The greatest thing for lovers is just being together. Simply watching DVDs and having great dinners at home can be nice choices to spend Valentine's Day.

it depends on the availability of everything that is required to celebrate the season. and of course, it is also for single people.

Yes I do celebrate Valentines Day and would be doing so the whole day if I had a partner but then I do not and still will celebrate Valentines Day but it would be for my mother or grandmother. It does not necessarily need to be your partner you celebrate with. Even when I had a partner in the past, I would still remember to celebrate it with my mother. I would give her chocolates or non-consumable gifts that would last longer.

I celebrate valentine's day when I'm in a relationship, but being single now I will rather stay at home instead of celebrating alone or I will hang out with some of my friends who are single and not busy in this coming valentine's day.

I have to admit that I don't really like to celebrate the day, because I find it depressing due to some bad experiences that I had with it in the past. This is something which I am trying to overcome because I feel sorry for my current partner as he knows that I don't like to celebrate Valentine's Day, but there are some things that you just cannot forget no matter how hard you try. However, I will always buy my partner a card and a small gift because I would feel too guilty if I ignored the day entirely. You have to show people that you love them.

Definitely, valentines day is not only for people who are in a relationship. It is a day to show that we love all the people around us. It is a day where we get to know that we are not alone and that there are many others who will be there for us. Friends. Even if you are not in a relationship, you could just reward yourself with something to make yourself happy. Or just do anything that you are happy doing it. It should be a day where we can be happy!

And no one wants to celebrate with me so i rather stay at home and watch TV hehehehe Happy valentines!

the occasion is for everyone, taken or not, complicated or easy...but reality, this is well appreciated by couple who are in love. This is for them. No matter how you say the greeting, it is never as spectacle as saying it to a lover. Every year, I get thrill with the idea of it but sadly, as much as I want it to celebrate, am with the federation of singles and might be forever haha.

i never went out on a date because its Valentines day even before that i have someone special. I dont know, its just another day for me. Everyday should be valentines day right..? I remember i went out with my sister and her boyfriend before because it was v-day. But it was like a family date. There were also some of their friends on the table. i think its also for the singles. Im single and im in love. As always.. ;)

Hello Cyclops, I didn't usually celebrate them every time there's a valentines day. fortunately, since it's my nieces first birthday, i would have to attend to her little party and probably give her a gift. I don't know about for singles but I have survived valentines day, probably by celebrates it for a lot of reasons, like for family

yes, you can celebrate valentine's day even you are not in a relationship. you can join your friends out but it is really up to you. to celebrate v-day, we usually go out for a sumptuous dinner but for now it is not possible because we could not leave our precious son at home. so we just celebrate it at home. my husband usually cook for dinner. and i think it is more fun that why because we don't need to wait for tables and orders, and get stuck in traffic jam.

I personally don't celebrate valentines day. I had long distance relationship with my gf before. We just talk by skype same as what we are doing everyday. But when it is our schedule to meet, we never waste a single time to pass without expressing how much we love each other. I think valentines day should be celebrated everyday. Because the point of celebrating valentines day is to show to everyone how much we care for them and love them.

Valentine's day is a sign of romance,a carnival for those who fall in love.I love this day even when I was single.Because it gives me a kind of great hope--may be next year I will spend this day with some guy or may be this is the last Valentine's day I spend alone.I should value this time. Evryone have rights to celebrate this day, never mind single or not .Enjoy yourself and hang out with friends.Perhaps you would find some great lover this day.
