On Tuesday my daughter had a vertibra replaced in her back, this turn out to be a 4 hour surgery, this was about an hour logner than expected and I haven't found out why it ran over. But now it is Thursday and she is doing well, on Friday we will bring her home, at least if things continue to go well. This is an operation that takes a long time to recover from, but it will be well worth it if she has much less pain. She may never be pain free from the damage she has done to her back over the years, but we have been told it should be about 80% improvement. Thanks to all for your prayers and good wishes.

Oh..I am so glad to hear that she did well with the surgery. Where the back is concerned, any improvement will be worth it later. There are issues with the back that can be debilitating.

She has spent the last 3 years with a pain doctor and a great deal of bed rest. Not a way you want to spend your life. Thanks

Good to hear that she is on the recovery. Back surgery is so scary! I have heard that its not very successful in taking away the back pain. I too have chronic back pain and wish it would just stop. I wish her all the very best in her healing and a success in no pain afterwards!

Wow. I hope she make a total recovery. And I am sure show would. Back problems are not an easy thing to handle. I just get simple pains once in a while and I cannot stand the pain. And I am sure it is nothing compared to your daughter. She will be moving around before you know it.
