Is it the right time to talk about PNOYS love affair?

Due to the recent situation that our country face at this moment like the earthquake that hits central visayas not to mention previous calamity that until people are struggling to rise up, the on going impeachment of CJ Corona, the increasing number of unemployed citizens and poverty growth, i don't really think we should put such hype on this matter...PNOY as we know was link to several girls yet no one stayed long..i guess much better if they keep it privately, we as citizens should give also their privacy...its not what the Pilipino needs to have...a first lady...but a national solution about this national problems especially against poverty...i guess for me PNOY should make impression for the country, not just by chasing corrupt citizens or a love affair to any gorgeous women, but building hope and progress to the filipino people as well ...we have great faith in you so don't let us down....so guys how about you what your point of view on this?

it's just a hype from the media, it's actually not about the thing whether to talk about it or not. it's their natural right and they're both personalities so it's actually natural for the chismosas and chismosos to feast over it. What's important is that the president is doing his job, that he should focus on more important problems of our country like the ever increasing oil price among other important things. Let's give them the privacy they deserve.

so we can say there is showbiz in politics and there is politics in showbiz.....its like yin and yang ...complementary force...one wouldn't exist without the other....

Right time or not, people will really talk about his love life. People in the philippines lives and breath entertainment. IMO, it's good that he is dating someone because there are a lot of talks that he "plays for the other team", if you know what i mean.

Blame the media on this one. Since they are the ones who are covering the issue, it's their fault that Pnoy's love affair gets center stage. If you don't pay attention to this issue then it won't get as big as the disasters or other top stories that the media covers.

I think the media should talk about something else, something more important... the president has lots of things- different things to worry about, they don't need to add to the burden.. His life is his own private matter.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that everytime there is a pressing national issue, the lovelife of Pnoy suddenly becomes colorful. Sure, we could talk about it (laugh about it, sometimes lol) and sometimes it's cute, like the current one who's not even Filipino, but, like you said, there are a lot more important issues to tackle. I can't help but remember the first presidential sister who comes up with scandalous situations everytime there was a national issue in the past that did not need the focus of every Filipino. Too showbizzy, actually. I would not mind at all, if the real issues are getting acted upon. But... as it is, there are a lot of things that need be done.

PNOYs love life is more colorful than how he lead his country out of poverty... Where is the boost of investors which can generate more jobs that he once said when he came back on an international trip...i still remember his showbiz sister that if noynoy will be elected as president then she will be living out of the country for the sake not to give his brother trouble by her personal issues... come on act on your words...

our country have a lots a problem firstly is corruption and the stability of our economy , i think he must step down if he only wants to make money on his status right now but he can act as a president with a first lady if he really wants to.

I definitely agree with you in regard to this. I feel so sad everytime I see a homeless person sleeping in the street. Especially the old ones, it really melts my heart. I am aware that a large number of Filipino people eat just once a day and it is really disappointing that the main focus of our policians is about the impeachment, lovelife and scandals.

Since Valentine's day is nearing, why not? He's still a human, has a heart, has feelings, has emotions.

Media seems to find the romantic side of Pnoy as more news worthy. It has occupied the headlines of all the prime time news on TV. Even Grace Lee has gained so much prominence lately. We are in the midst of situations that need immediate attention from the president. It is not enough to chase corrupt presidents or erring chief justices. What the country needs are reforms in order to control poverty through the creation of more jobs. We are still struggling with no economic reforms whatsoever. Look at all the neighboring countries in Southeast Asia. We are being left out in terms of progress and economy. We used to be the tiger cub of Asia. It is indeed disappointing.

there are lots of things to be overlook rather than PNOY's private life. Let him do what he want's to do in his private life as long as he won't forget his responsibilities to his people.

No. There's alot more important things to put your attention to. He's the president of our country and things like that should be kept personal. We should give our attention to the victims of the recent calamities and send them some help. He looks like a D.O.M with grace lee by the way. LOL
