Internet is a great medium of communication, information and knowledge sharing. It also helps people share their opinions, find jobs, earn money and most importantly have fun. But the internet has a ugly face too and everyone is aware of it. There are many things about the internet that make the experience of users around the world bitter.
Which one of these do you think is the worst:-
1. Viruses, spyware and malware
2. Phishing scams
3. Spamming
4. Hacking(Cracking)
5. Lots of rubbish in the name of reliable information

The bad effect of internet is more and more people get addicted on it, especially students are lazy to study. They spend most of their time sitting in front of the computer browsing and playing online games.

Today's kids are exposed to the internet way too much and addiction is bound to happen.
I don't think these kids ever read novels and comics or play games like ludo, chess etc. All they do is fool around with absurd things on the internet.

I agree with you bro. My kids sits in front of the internet from morning till evening. But I noticed she learned a lot. She doesn't visit adult sites. She communicates with all her friends talking about school subjects. What I don't like is she doesn't care about other things.

Internet is indeed a great learning tool. Good that your daughter uses it wisely and I suppose you do keep a check on her. But you should tell her about the importance of books over e-books and face to face conversation over facebook.

I think all the above would be the best answer to your question.
One more thing is that it is addictive.Many teenagers are getting spoiled because of this.They are ruining their lives and carriers.Anything has both pros and cons but as u know the extent of corruption and crime rate are also increasing.U can find anything in internet.I feel it is a rich source to all crimes.Here u can get the aim,apparatus,procedure and also result for all the tasks whether good or bad.

I agree with you on the fact that it is very addictive not only for kids but also for adults. As far as bad stuff is concerned, it is in abundance and outweighs the good one.
I feel that there should be a cleaning mechanism just like for our streets so that we can keep the filth away.

All of the scams that are online really do annoy me beyond pretty much all belief. It does really make it rather hard to really find anything worthwhile online. Plus I'm sure that really does annoy a lot of people who are trying to run a legit business online as well. Because they get buried within the scams and often times painted with the same brush.
Viruses and the like are really bad as well. Also people who tend to take the Internet too seriously, where personal vendettas are aired out online is a rather bad thing to say the least. There are just going to be a lot of times where the Internet can really be a good thing. However, much like any tool, it can be used in a self destructive way.

i think phishing scams is the worst thing for internet. there are really a lot of scam that could found on internet. the worst is, those scam still saying that there are the real one.

I think most of them are as bad as the other one. I've lost plenty a computer due to virsues and malware though and so I'm going to say that one cause of the experiences I've gone through. I have used anti-virus programs and still gotten them!
