Well, I was reading some discussions on here today about garlic and how some people call it the "Wonder Drug" even if it isn't a drug really. Is it really it a vegetable? I'm confused now as to the real origin. I know it helps alot of illnesses, one of them being cholesterol. Do you eat alot of garlic or use it in any other ways to help any type of afflictions? I love eating garlic, especially in foods like pasta, etc.

You are right. Garlic is a very healthy vegetable. I heard that it even can prevent the possibility to have cancer. Besides, adding the garlic when you fry the vegetable is so delicious. And it smells great.
I love China

I have a dish here at home full of raw garlic, when I'm feeling sick or just craving for garlic I'll take a clove, peel it, and slice it and let sit for about five minutes, then eat it with a meal or on a slice of bread and mayonaise. I love the taste, and it has helped me with cold symptons. Hubby's mother takes garlic pills every day but that's only synthetic stuff as the garlic loses its healing properties after even heating, not to mention processing.

I'm sorry you have had some problems with your gall bladder, some ailments such as that could make things more complicated I'm sure, not in a good way either. Yes, it does help the common cold and flu virus when you get it, it should speed up the process of feeling better.

Hi--I have never tried to eat it fried unless you are talking about when people put it in some olive oil and make something like tomato sauce with other ingredients. I have been meaning to put it in some soups and all that lately but keep forgetting. I should do that today cause I have some leftover soup from yesterday in the refrigerator. I'm not sure if I have high cholesterol it has never been brought up to me after numerous blood tests I have had this year, so maybe not.

Well, it seems like some of us have our differences of opinions of what it is exactly. I think it might even be an herb which is also a spice of sorts. The regualr antibiotics just make me sick so I would have to try this instead, thanks! Do you have to mash the garlic up in the glass before you drink it or take it out whole?
