Tottenham crushed Newcastle 5-0, Man U beat Liverpool by 2-1 and Arsenal rallied to win against Sunderland 2-1. The big losers of the day were of course Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea who lost to Everton by 0-2. The results mean that Man United go top of the EPL, probably just for a day as Man City play today. Spurs consolidated their position at third while Arsenal for the first time in a long time moved into the fourth position!! What are your take on this weekend's results so far? Cheers! Ram

My reaction? Wow! Was Newcastle that bad ot Tottenham that good/ Was New Castle playing with only 10? Man U match is Karma coming around . Suraez wouldn't shake hands and after the half there was a fight in the tunnel and man U took all this energy and put it into their game. And I'm shocked about the Chelsea score. Did they take Everton for granted?

I think Chelsea did take Everton seriously - AVB just could not afford not to - but Chelsea was simply not good enough to NOT to be beaten! Everton played professionally, not just because they were up against Chelsea, they are always fighters. David Moyes has done a good job there.

I think Tottenham came out of the blocks like a house on fire. The first 20 minutes saw them score 3 goals and Newcastle was hopelessly out of the contest. I think this is becoming a habit for Newcastle, every few matches they have a howler and then they string in a set of good results to maintain their charge for the fourth place. As far as Chelsea is concerned, the wheels are coming off and AVB's time is seriously marked now. If they miss on Champions League next season, he is out for sure. I agree with jkct that they did not take Everton lightly but were simply undone by the industry of Everton, who got back one of their stars from previous year Pienaar who scored on his return. Cheers! Ram

Thank you both. My ex is depressed that Chelsea lost and so was I until you explained it. I think Newcastle is the worse trouble. You can't tank ever other game and win championships! I hope they can right the ship.

Glory! Man United! I was so excited that Man U beat Liverpool! Suarez was so crass to ignore Evra while shaking hands with players of Man U before the game. Rio Ferdinand was so supportive to refuse to shake hands with Suarez. In the game Rio Ferdinand had a really great performance. Wayne Ronnie scored two goals just in three minutes. He is really an excellent forward!

Suarez and Evra would hog the headlines while it was the clinical performance from Man U that should hog the headlines. Liverpool was really poor yesterday and did not deserve to get anything from the game. Cheers! RAm

I think at this moment it is more a question of whether Liverpool can afford to sack him. Given the fact that they are struggling to score goals, I would not think so. If they get a good striker, they will then make all the right noises and send him off!! Cheers! Ram

it is said by newspapers that Suarez may face an uncertain future after betraying Liverpool's Evra snub and the fact of Suarez lying lead the way to his way to exit.though Suarez apologized officially after the game saying that he was so sorry to have the manager and club down. But I really don't think his attitude was sincere.according to Daily Mail, and Mirror, this event may be far from ending.the club was so angry about what Suarez did and they think what it did has done unforgivable damages to the club. do you guys really think that Suarez would leave after the end of this season?

I thought that Spurs were fantastic and if they play like that for the rest of the season will definately qualify for the champions league.

And actually consistency has been the biggest bane of Tottenham in the years past. But this year they seem to have a new resolve and are very consistent. Let's see what does the Harry-England angle do this season for them. Cheers! Ram

It's a nice result compilation Ram! Of course, nothing can't beat my excitement seeing Man Utd overcame Liverpool. Despite the issue between Evra and Suarez. I had enough of it. Poor Chelsea. Really hope AVB can manage to hold his position until next season. But you know Abramovich style Good work for Tottenham. It's nice to see they are manage to get over Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool. Without so much money like City, they can create a solid team. Lastly, City finally get over the top once again after beating Villa 1-0. Nice to see how City and United fight each other competitively

Yes, the applecart has been turned both in Manchester and in London. Till last year Man United used to be the top club in Manchester, now they are second. Till last year Chelsea and Arsenal used to be above Spurs at London and this year again the applecart has changed!! Cheers! Ram
