How many children do you want to have?

When I was young I always dreamed to have 10 children. It may seem outrageous but I always wanted to have many children. I felt like I have so much love to give and I need many to share it with. I even have names for all of them already, I kept the list in my journal. I told my husband that even before we got married and he cringed at the idea! hehe. Now, that I am old and have one son and I experienced how difficult pregnancy and how painful childbirth was, and how tedious it is to take care of a child, well my dream number of children reduced to three (3) hehehe. How about you, how many children are you planning to have?

lol yeah ten kids is a lot. I only wanted one or perhaps two. But now I only want one. My daughter is a handful of kids all in one. She is very attached to me. I want to be able to give everything and everyone the time and attention that they need. And having more kids wouldn't really allow that. I still have things that I need to accomplish as a career and I have to divide all of my time well. It's still always a work in progress. But one child is definitely enough for me. No more surprises I tell my husband.

I have one child, and I think two would be nice. I don't think I could handle more than 3 because we only have two adults, but I don't think we can afford to have more than 2. everything costs so much!

I have four children, two of each. I have a daughter aged 22, a son aged 14 and twins, a girl and a boy both aged 12. Sometimes I wish I had five children, but I don't do being pregant, find it very hard. I thought at one stage I would only have one child, but thankfully I met my husband and had three more. I love all four of my children the same but I find my girls easier than boys. Although I have friends who find there girls harder work than there boys, so if I was going ot have another baby (too old now) I would want another girl, but this may also be due to the fact that there is a big age gap bewteen my girls. My twins are like an old married couple a lot of the time.

I have one and want to have one more. I guess two are enough in such expensive time. Its very difficult to raise many kids.

Not more than two. We cant manage well more than two. In our country population increased rapidly, expense of education is too high in those day and many other factors not permit us more than two:))))

I only had one, but I wish I had had 2 at least. I don't like it that my daughter has no siblings. She recently expressed to me, also, that it makes her sad that she has none. Makes me feel horrible, but that wasn't her intentions. I felt bad before she said it. It is not possible now.
