hi friends.just wondering. when bhajji was first left out of team, there were some outcry. when ashwin didn't perform that well in tests, the legends believed bhajji would would have changed the fortune and india made a mistake in leaving him out. but these days there are no whispers about him. he didn't make headline. not sure if he played ranji matches.if he did,he must not have done that brilliantly. eventhough ashwin has been sparse in this tour,he manages to win matches as well as man of the match awards. with jadeja being a solid fix at number 7 and rahul sharma impressing, what are the chances of bhajji making a comeback ( barring IPL )? add to that, there are not many test series this year, what will happen to bhajji?

Hi stardustcdsd, The future of Harbhajan singh depends lots on how he will perform in the upcoming IPL5 season. If his performance for Mumbai Indians may be something needs to be noted one. For punjab he played few ranji matches but he didn't seems to be impressive. Yes your correct now both the Ashwin and Jadeja are some what good in their bowling but their plus is batting which makes them a place in the team. Still Harbhajan has lots to prove to come back into the team.

I am actually worried.Bhajji was dropped before champions league last year.he won the tournament with good bowling as well as leading the team to victory.i thought that would be enough but not good enough for the selectors. if he failed in IPL 5,what then?

If he fails in IPL5, may be its end of roads to him.

I think that he has same problems with MS DHONI , that's why he is not in the team for a long time.

Only chance for him will be in case he reinvents DOOSRA and then hope he get some games to showcase that he still has that fire in him.Indian team will get good two months rest after IPL before NZ comes to India for Test and ODI series.Hence its unlikely that Ashwin will be rested or Bhajji will be picked over Ashwin.Ashwin is young , he has the variety in his bowling that makes things hard for Bhajji. He should watch his own old videos , also watching videos of Saqlain and Ajmal will help.

This lay off will do a world of good for his form. He will realize that he can still come back into the national reckoning with good performances and he is at an age where he can peak and stay there for some time.Bhajji, Ashwin, Rahul Sharma and Jadeja could be very good for the ODI whereas for tests I would like to see Bhajji and Rahul Sharma ahead of Ashwin.
