And all that was left was tail and legs...

Khuay has been more attentive and active since I haven't had to go to class two days a week. He has been busily being his usual strange and cute self. Well he's always been cute, let's face it. Today I was busy at work, cutting out teddy bears, when Khuay came in. He didn't get my attention when he sat on top of the television with his tail hanging in the middle of the screen. He tried sitting on the table in the middle of what I was doing, and that didn't work. He wandered off, with a furrow in his brow while he was thinking about how to get my attention. Soon he was out of sight in the bedroom. I took a bathroom break and he didn't join me there, so I figured he went to sleep. I was in for a surprise! Suddenly there was the thundering of kitty paws in the hallway and a flash of cream and orange. There was a huge leap and a thud as Khuay landed in the scrap bin. (I put the larger scraps into a bin for use in patchwork bears.) All that was left in view was his legs and his looonnnnngggg tail. Then his head popped up from among the fur pieces as if to inquire "Did I get your attention this time???" Then he uttered an inquisitive "YOW" as if to ask if it had worked. Of course it did, and I picked the little fiend up out of the fur pieces and gave him the undivided attention he wanted. When he had enough he jumped back in the scrap bin and went to sleep. Have your cats had to work that hard to get attention?

I'd say maybe khuay just wanted to make you mad xD well, I believe you treated Khuay very well, as it is shown that he was trying to gain more of your attention. For my cat, he would try his very very, Very Best to get my attention every time... When I have a plate of food in my hand. No, as long I have a plate, he would be right beside me, as if saying' partner, let's enjoy the meal together ' == when its play time, bath time or any time other than food, he would be out of sight. Literally out of sight. I'd say he never catch a mouse for me, nor at least try too. Whereas, a stray cat that comes by my house, help me cat many. No kidding. I'd feed that cat anchovies for his great work. I would get hold of my cat and point my finger to that stray and say, you suck. Lol. Usually, he would just try to get of my hand and pick a fight with that stray cat. == lazy cat. When food is involve, only his energy is involve. If i were to lose him in a nearby jungle for three hours, I bet he would be crying his head off before trying to find food or his way back. Oh well, me and my lazy cat sends our regards to you and Khuay. I call my cat now, retard.

Awe, how cute! Let's see, I have a lot of cats so I must think about this a minute. Bootsie will sit and stare at me until I notice, or he will meow and whine. He hides behind my chair, so I have to make an effort to find him. Lovie cries and rubs my leg, Stinker paws at the chair and climbs in my lap and also is taking after Bootsie by crying a bit and making me look for him, Beenie will also meow and walk to and fro until I pay attention. Baby usually waits until I am sitting in the living room and she will crawl into my lap no matter what I am doing. Leonardo is new, and has been confined since he had his surgery so I don't know yet what he will do.

DJ parks himself on the desk front and centre of the monitor batting at the moving pictures on screen until I lift him down,or spends his time noisily attempting jumps onto the room's vantage points...he's been making some progress on scaling the bookcase that's about my height...gonna have to find some other catproof storage space for the stuff I was planning on keeping out of his reach soon...and when my back's turned to him at the sink or cooker (Thankfully mostly when I'm wearing Jeans!) he'll jump up and latch onto my backside with all 4 paws!

generally, if a cat wants our attention bad enough, they jump on us, stand on us, or otherwise get into our arms...

Loverbear, forget the book, grab a video camera and make a movie..lol I love to hear about Khuay's adventures, and what a great way to start off my morning, before school..Especially this week, "mid-terms" Anyway, Penny is the worse out of my two, if she wants something, food, attention, food, to go out side, food, (did I mention she tries to get food a lot??) and at 50 pounds, it doesn't take much than her jumping on me, (a taboo and she knows it) and then either whines or barks..Can't ignore her for long.. lol

HAHAHA I have one who will sit on the floor in front of me and just stare at me for the longest time. When that doesn't work, she goes to a shelf or my table beside the couch and starts throwing things on the floor. She's done it since she was big enough to reach the top of the table. If it wasn't so bleeding cute...
