I think maybe it should be sent both ways. Through the regular mail and the email. And also it would not hurt to send a text message to their cell phone about their statement being available online. That all the bases are covered.

Hello there I think sending of statement of accounts through email is just fine. All you have to do is to get your subscriber's email address and attach the statement of account on the email.I suggest that if a subscriber can't receive their statement of account by snail mail, kindly check your subscriber's home address too, maybe there was a slight problem on your subscriber's address and ask your subscriber too if it's okay with them if you would just send their statement of account through their email address. That way your subscriber will not have any reason why they did not receive any statement of account .I hope this can help you :)

i think it is as i received my statements 10 days prior to due date, although i am online 10 hours a day six days a week and that would be somehow give me reasonable amount of time to be aware of it through my email. i think it would only affect those who rarely goes online and check their email.
