Same dreams over and over

I dont know why but all the time I have the same kind of dreams. I dream that my teeth fall out. To me that is such a nightmare. I grind my teeth in my sleep and maybe subconciously I know that its making my teeth loose when I do that and start dreaming that they fall out I dont know. How does it make you feel when you have the same kind of dreams all the time?

Years ago, I also had the same dream over and over again. I dreamt I was in front of the TV. The screen was getting bigger and bigger and I was getting smaller and smaller!
I don't know what it meant, but I would always wake up drenched with sweat. It was more like a nightmare. I didn't like it. I'm glad I don't have it anymore.

Wow that is an odd dream to have over and over. At least with my dream that repeats a lot about my teeth falling out it makes sense in my life because of the fact that I grind my teeth in my sleep and it makes them loose. Its been about a week since I could wear the retainer because I had a canker in my mouth and it hurt to much to wear the retainer which means my teeth shifted and now they will be sore for a few days from wearing the retainer again.

WHAT? the tv goes bigger and bigger then you began smaller and smaller? Feels like the tv monitor became a monster that will eat you whole. I guess you have been watching too much tv that makes it real and your world turned around of it that makes it bigger and would have eaten you alive, so I think stop too much of tv stuff dear!
before it became a real life monster!

I don't believe this, but my aunt does. She has this dream book that tells you what those kinds of dreams mean. I know somewhere in the book it mentions about dreams with teeth falling out. I don't think it means anything good. I am sure you could either find that book in a library or online somewhere. And I would check with a doctor about recurring dreams, because they could be related to medications.

I actually used to have a few different dream books. They were neat but then I realized they probably werent true and I got into religion more which said they werent something I should be reading so I sold them on ebay. This was quite a few years back. The dream books were difficult to understand sometimes because you had to choose on theme for the dream and sometimes I dream about so many different things its hard to decide which is the main idea of the dream. Except for the dreams where my teeth fall out that is pretty obvious what is happening lol.

Well, I believe whatever dreams we have is our subconscious talking. If you have something on your mind, you most likely will dream about it. Especially if it is weighing on your mind. I know I must dream, but I don't really remember them. I might remember a few and if so just bits and pieces. Nothing that actually makes sense.

Recurring dreams are something that has been a problem for me throughout my life and it is definitely not something that has ever made me comfortable.
The latest that I've been having is that my husband passed away and I was back into the dating world again. Well, I had tubal ligation after my son was born and in my dream I am always asking men that I am seeing if they would be willing to pay for a reversal of tubal ligation or invitro fertilization so that we would be able to have a child together.

Hi,
Any way you go nice teeth and sad to hear about losing your teeth even in dream. Just have relaxed as it is only a dream and don't bother about because it will not happen in the real life. Some years back, even I had similar dream wherein I felt even my teeth also got brok while I was swimming by hitting on a rock.
Nothing to worry about the repetitions. You may be much concerned about your teeth and that may be the reason for this repetition. Dreams are just dreams not even 1% comes in true life. So, be relaxed and have a nice day.
Thank-s

Thankfully last night I didnt have this dream again. Its really unsettling for me when I dream that my teeth fall out. I am filled with such anxiety in the dreams.
Last night I dreamed that my friend and I went out on a date and we went to dinner to his friends and I was bored and he was having a blast. I didnt have any makeup on so I was uncomfortable with how I looked. Then later we went to dinner with my parents and everyone seemed to get along fine but then when we were leaving my friend started slamming doors and being mean and when we got in the truck he said it was because he didnt want to have to be around my parents and I was like omg we just hung with your friends its only fair. Well he had been drinking and he flipped off this one car and quick changed lanes and then a cop pulled him over. After that I think I woke up or I dont remember the rest of the dream.

do you drink Pepsi? Or Coca Cola? That stuff is really nasty to teeth, see here:

sometimes we get signs in our dreams, so maybe it's indeed something you should worry about or take care of. Especially when you grind your teeth during sleep and you dream about loosing them this could probably happen in effect - due to the grinding. Ah, I just found this article you may find helpful:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruxism
there you also find methods for treatment of your prob.
Cheers

Thanks for the links I will check them out later for sure. I actually do not hardly ever drink soda its really bad for your teeth and your body. I do have bruxism and I have to wear a retainer to bed to keep my teeth from shifting and undoing the work the orthodontist did to get my teeth aligned different so they werent putting so much pressure on them. But I cannot wear the retainer all the time like I need to as it causes me problems. What I need is a new bite guard to keep my teeth seperated so I cannot grind them at all. Unfortunately the first night I had one I bit it in half in my sleep :( I have some powerful jaws lol.

I understand, that's tricky. I hope you'll get a robust bite guard this time. Although it's not mentioned in the treatment advises in the Wiki article maybe as a last ''last resort'' you could also try to deal with the issue mentally, perhaps by trying to influence your jaw activity unconsciously in your dreams. I've read that people can control their dreams, so may be they can also control themselves from within a dream (usually the body is in a state of motionlessness though when we dream to prevent copying the movements we make in our dreams but I think that is limited to arms and legs).

I have also dreamt of my teeth falling out a few or so times long ago. But not lately. I had heard it means something sexy, but now I can't recall all the details. I have the same dreams recurring once in a while, like my cats. I dream of the ones I no longer have most often and usually they are either alive again, or finding other cats around in the yard, etc. I have a sweet spot for cats, so that might be why I'm always have those cat dreams, LOL. I dream I lose my purse and get into a panic due to it. I've dreamt I'm all alone and don't feel like anyone in the room is talking to me or they are just ignoring me, waking up sad after that. Now I know there are lots more dreams I have dreamt more than once but can't recall what they are.

A lot of dreams I do not recall either or I will remember them when I wake up but within minutes the details get foggy until I cant remember much about them at all. Last night I didnt have any dreams about my teeth falling out. I had an unusual dream. In my dream I was visiting my sister in law two states away. She was in my car and strapped into a car seat and she had to throw up she vomited all over the car it was disgusting. She finally got out and went into the house and vomited all over the room and then suddenly she had a baby girl. She couldnt decide if she should name it bell or laura. I had no idea she was even pregnant in the dream so it was weird lol. That was a really strange dream.

Hi shaggin...
How are you?
Anyway, i think you are highly conscious to your teeth. When you feel very sensitive to an object then it comes on our dream according to psychology.
have a nice time.

Haha...I have the same experienced last year..(^^) I have dreamed about my teeth fall out many times on that year. My family said that I have the same habit of grinding my teeth while sleeping but I think I rarely did this and thank god my teeth are still fine and in good condition. About the dream I think it just a dream, I don't want to take too much about it~(^^)
