In the recession is it better to spend your money or to save it, a lot of people are playing it safe and banking there money in case of a 'rainy day' but ultimatly this is harming the economy. So is it better to spend or to save
I personally think that if you can afford the little luxuries you should treat yourself having some emergancy is a bad thing but if everbody just cut back we will never get out of the recession. So the question is should we save or spend?.

I think that it's better to save your money. Sure, spending a little bit on yourself once in a while isn't bad, but I think that it's still better to save your money, especially nowadays. You never know what could happen. If you save your money, you know that you have some money, if and when you need it, if and when you're a little short for money, for whatever reason.

If you need money you can always borrow or get another job or loan but people need to spend to kick start the economy

I was taught by my parents saving is a must and I still think it is, we must save a little because we don't know what is ahead of us, but we only live once so we must enjoy our gift of life as well, so most times that takes a little money to do that, so I guess we just have to be smart about it..
