Gonna need a new phone...

So to top off my disastrous valentines day, my phones screen shatters. It was kind of my fault but anyways...nownim going to need a new phone. I'm going to have to wait two weeks until I get my paycheck so I can get a new one. I'm not going to ask my parents because this was really my fault and I'd feel bad having them pay for a new one.
It seems that the more you try for a good thing, the worse it turns out. I'm just glad this horrible day is over and hopefully I'll be able to replace my phone soon.

What happened? Did you drop it or step on it or something? How did it shatter? I have an iPhone and I keep it in my purse... I have a nightmare about if I leave my purse on the floor next to me and someone steps on it, I'll be out of a phone... I was at the doc today and had the purse beside me on the floor, but no one stepped on it.

I dropped it :( usually its pretty sturdy but I guess it fell just the right way and shattered the screen. It happened to me before too. As much as I love iPhones, they don't hold up very well and can break easily. I'd be nervous leaving it in my purse on the floor too, the screens break so easily.

Sorry to hear that your valentine's day didn't go very well, hope everything turns out okay. I have dropped my cellphone a few times in the past but luckily it never broke or shattered. Now that i'm a stay at home parent, I don't have my cellphone anymore since I don't need it. Anyway, I hope you can get a nice new cellphone soon

Well thats no phone. I remember having to run to the mall before my boyfriend left on a trip to go get him a new phone because that day he was packing and getting the car on the trailer he took the phone out of the case and dropped it on the concrete driveway so it shattered so i ran to the mall to get him a new one of course.
Well good luck getting a new phone it wont be a hassel and never is.

I am sorry to hear that you broke your cellphone. That has to suck, especially if it is the only phone you rely on. I know it my situation, it would be awful, as I don't have a landline. I keep my cellphone on the stand next to my laptop, and I have to be careful that I don't knock it off, as I have laminate floors in my hone, and it would shatter for sure, as well, as when I am outside, waling, I have to to be very careful. My phone is a little more than a week old, so I certainly don't want anything to happen to it, that is for sure. I use my phone everyday, so if I didn't have it, I would be very lost. I hope that you find the phone that you are looking for, when you go to replace it. Take care, and happy mylotting.

yes, the phone still works but it's a little hard to see the screen clearly through the shatters. I might take it to get the screen replaced because I don't think I'm die for an upgrade with my service provider :( I hope I get it fixed soon though, it hurts my eyes to look at the screen now.

That's too bad.
My blackberry has been acting up lately and I've been wanting to upgrade. I tried when the 4s came out, but they said I'm not due for an upgrade yet. It still works most of the time, so I'll suffer through it.
It sounds like yours really needs to be replaced. Any chance you could get more hours at Pink so you pay off a new one?

Oh no :( hopefully you'll be due for an upgrade soon, I know how frustrating a phone can be to use when it's finally dying lol.
Luckily I get paid this Friday. It felt like I worked a bunch of hours, so I'll see what my paycheck is like. If not, I'm working more this week and on Monday I'm working two shifts and hopefully the paycheck after that will be more.
I think I'll just go to the apple store to get the screen replaced. It's $99, probably about the same as getting a new phone. I don't think I have an upgrade so I'll probably just get a new screen.
