Both Adam & Eli are still suffering from the RSV. For some reason they both think that they need to stay up all night long. I am not getting to bed until 3 or later in the mornings and just as soon as I get to sleep good one of them will wake up. They are taking turns. When I get one laid down the other one wakes up. Keith come home let me sleep a while today but I am still tired. It is 3:23 am right now and I am hoping Eli is going to go to sleep soon. Are you up late?

Oh boy do I remember those days. I remember all those sleepless nights. I still to this day do not know how I functioned at work. I was like on auto pilot for over 24 months. We also used to take turns. But it still takes a toll.

Did you have twins too? Sleep is very hard to come by these days. Thanks for stopping by!

No I don't have twins. I have an eleven year old boy and a seven year old girl. I remember when my son was a baby, I had almost two years of no sleep. With my daughter, it was much easier. But I do not miss those sleepless nights. I do miss the time I spent with them.

I've had some pretty crazy work hours going on lately. I am hoping I go to bed tonight on schedule..lol...if not..tomorrow might be a tough day. I have had to fill in for someone that works 3rd shift. I hope you get some rest soon. It can really wear on you if you don't. Take care.

i assume these are your kids? what is RSV? is it respitory something? im up way to late the past week. 4 or 5 am before i can sleep and dont know why. worst of all is then i sleep late in the day because of the need for sleep. and that only makes it harder. like a vicious circle

Hello there bunnybon. Yes, these are my kids, they are 3 month old twins. RSV is short for respiratory syncytial virus. It is very dangerous in infants. It is basically a cold for an adult but because the twins were born premature and they are so young it is very dangerous for them. I hope you get more sleep soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Try to catch some naps while they are both asleep or quiet. Even a little bit of sleep, or even laying down, will help you out. Babies can be more energetic than what you´d wish. But the older they get, the more work you´ll have, so enjoy this monent

marguicha you are so right they will get older and be more work. They are already very active so I see me chasing them around the house often. I do try to get sleep while they sleep. The problem with them is that they are on opposite schedules. Once one is asleep the other one will wake up. This was not this way before they got the RSV. After getting the RSV they started sleeping opposite hours. Thank you for stopping by.

I used to wake up till late when my son was small, but now its ok for me. You should try to get rest during afternoon or small naps when ever possible. Hope your kiddos get healthy very soon and you get enough time for yourself.

Hello Shellyann36 I use to be up until 2 a.m. this time. I am wakeing up really late every day, and that cause me that I can not sleep until 2 am usually. But still I am in more confortable situation than you. But when you really need to take care about someone who love, there is no night, I believe you. I hope that you will be have a time for a rest in next days.

It is difficult at times being a parent isn't it? My partner works for us too. He does come home in the afternoon and I get to sleep a few hours after we eat the evening meal but that does not help much when I am going for 17 hours watching sick children. At least I get more of a break on the weekends. Thanks for stopping by.
