I used to write daily logs on Facebook but never even got any responses from them from my online friends, most of them I knew or know personally at one time or another. But on MyLot, I write on any topic & get feedback in days or even hours! I love that feedback. So, in my experience, MyLot is a better writing vehical than Facebook for personal writings. It's not a coincidence, since I'm with other would-be writers or amatuer writers or professional writers in the same website who get paid, unlike on FB. I just want to say I appreciate MyLot for getting so much feedback on personal thoughts from writing! I also appreciate the feedback from fellow bloggers!

Yes, I agree, too. I think the biggest problem with Facebook is the way it's formatted. Messages get lost quickly if you're friends with more than just two or three people. Unless you stay there, refreshing over and over, all day long, or you want to scroll forever, you'll miss some things. On myLot, things stay there because it's more like a forum instead of a chat site.

I don't think facebook was ever a site for writers. It's only good for gossips. But any musings, especially that requires deep thoughts would either garner no response or would only get joked at. It's a good thing you've found mylot then!

No one answers anything I say on Facebook either. That is a great thing about Mylot that you can get feedback. There is no point of writing on Facebook if no one responds.

True. If you want to discuss something serious or something that needs more attention,I would not suggest Facebook. Most people who uses Facebook are only interested in personal stories or celebrity news and no one care what else you post.
