It's painful how Arsenal players continue to break our hearts. The team lost to Sunderland and therefore failed to qualify for the quarter finals of the English FA Cup competition. Is Arsenal doomed to be just an "also participated" team? Why are the players not so clinical in scoring goals? Can we say the quality of most of the players Arsene Wenger brought into the team is suspect? These questions, and many more, are begging for answers. It's almost certain that Arsenal may end this season without any trophy because the team's chance in the UEFA Champions League return leg match against A.C. Milan is almost nil.

When Arsenal won at the Stadium of Lights a week ago, I knew it was the end of their FA Cup adventure this season. The reason? Since supporting Arsenal, I don't remembered them making a clean sweep of their opponents. After winning both home and away, I just knew the Gunners would lose. Sad to say, this means the end of the season for them. Another trophyless season.

Good comment. It seems the players just lack the desire to fight for success.
