I am 15 weeks pregnant and cannot wait to find out the gender of the baby. I have done several of those gender tests online just for fun but am curious if any mylotters have any insight on the subject? I know in the end I will just have to wait my four to five more weeks to find out for sure, but it's still fun to guess in the meantime. Any old wives tales? How many of you did those silly tests on the internet and were they ever correct? I've done several and it's about half and half. Of course my main concern is delivering a healthy baby.

I will share I know about old wives tales. My mom and grandma used to say that if a pregnant mother looks prettier than she was before getting pregnant, then it is most probably a baby girl. If it is otherwise, then it is a baby boy. I'm not saying that the pregnant mother looks ugly but if she gets more pimples than before or if her skin gets darker and etc. It is just an old wives' tale, but have fun guessing. By the way, do you a name for your baby yet??

i was gonna say how can she name the baby if she don't know what it is yet? but then i remember, she can choose a name for a boy if it's a boy or for a girl if it's a girl.

hahahahhah. That's right! This kind of activity is very important to a mom-to-be. It gives them happiness in a way that they can only describe. It is fun at the same way it creates a bond to the unborn child. Can you suggest a name to her?

Aww... congratulations! You are so blessed. I dont know if youve heard of this, hmm, get a thread and a gold ring. It has to be gold Tie the thread to the ring making it suspend like a pendulum. Let it hang so that it doesnt move. Then right below the hanging gold ring, put your wrist. The ring then would start to move. do not touch the ring tho just let it move . When the ring moves horizontally , then you have a girl, vertically for boys... the ring would rotate in circles to indicate the time intervals in Between your kids. The longer it rotates, the longer the difference of your children. Good luck

Congratulations on the news that you are fifteen weeks pregnant. When I was in early to mid stage pregnancy I tried the needle on a thread spinning over my bump. I didn't fully trust whether the result was correct or not. I believed the ultrasound scan at 16 weeks private or 20 weeks in the hospital. In my first pregnancy I felt I was having a boy and I wasn't able to find out at the 20 week scan. In my second pregnancy I found out at a private gender scan at 16 weeks and I was having another boy. At 36 weeks pregnancy I found out a disabled boy. In my third pregnancy I went to the fetal medicine unit and the consultant said I was having a baby girl at 16 weeks pregnant. He was right and she was born two days after her due date. Good luck with finding out the gender of your healthy baby.

Here the doctors don't allow to tell the baby's gender to the pregnant women. In fact I have no problem to have a son or daughter. I just care whether my baby is healthy or not. The gender doesn't matter. I love China

for me i haven't done any silly test online to find out the gender of my baby..i don't think this is true but also some people say that if you look blooming then you will have a baby girl and if your looks suddenly change because of pregnancy like your necks becomes black or your nose become big..then it is said the baby will be a boy..this can be true or not..it is normal for us to be excited about the gender of our baby but the most important thing is to be able to deliver a normal and healthy baby..

my sister is pregnant and she and her boyfriend decided to wait till the baby comes to find out what it is and i kind of find this interesting cause it excites us all(: but i am not sure about any good legit tests to tell what it is until the doctor says he can determine if it a boy or girl so your best bet is wait till then?

I don't think that there is any way to know for sure until you're at your first scan, however it certainly is fun to keep guessing! I don't like to guess, because if I had convinced myself that I was having a girl and then got excited about it, I would feel guilty if I were having a boy because I'd wanted a girl so much, if that makes sense. I was told that one of mine was certainly a girl, cue lots of shopping for pink clothes and a (very) girly name for "her". Baby arrived, and was definitely not a girl at all! Best surprise of my life, but had a lot of returning to do for all of the clothes that I had bought!

My boss is pregnant and before she knew the gender, she "knew" it was a boy. I don't know how. She said something about where the baby felt like it was sitting - like it was lower down - that she knew it was a boy. Plus she already has two boys, so I guess your chances of having a boy are increased if you already have had them. I don't know that any of those wives tales are true. I have never been pregnant but it would drive me CRAZY not knowing!!!!

Hi there cj foust, Wow congratulations , I hope that the baby is perfectly healthy and you and your hubby is having worry free surgery. In my country they say that if a woman looks haggard or gets too fat too much then she will have a male kid but if she looks like she blooming then the baby is a girl. hope you and your fail the best.
