Can anyone here advice me how I can earn atleast $10 an hour from Odesk? I have been working there for a few weeks now but I am just earning $2 an hour.. Most of the high paying jobs there requires US residents! I have many skills, mostly technical, except programming..

Depends what kind of work you're looking for. You're on my friends list - pop me your profile link and I'll have a look. I might be able to suggest some basic things. The easiest way to earn more is, of course, not to accept low pay.

I was just looking for technical jobs for the past 3 days. I forgot to take the tests! I will do it later today, I'm a bit busy at the moment. I will surely PM you some time soon regarding this topic.

You might be able to find those jobs or get them easier if you can research and lean the programming. The problem is if you are from another country, there are some NOT all employers who will expect you to work for less. I am looking up and learning a few things as well. When you do that then take the skills test on the site and if you get a good score post it so the employers know you can do the job or have an understanding of it.

He he. You are lucky to have a job on Odesk.com. I was rejected on Odesk.com many times so I gave up. Ha ha. Anyway, I do not understand either why you earn $2.00 an hour from Odesk.com. I think it depends on the employer. Why you do not find a job online that has high pay an hour rather than $2.00 an hour a day? I think it depends on you if you are going to accept low pay from the employer.

I had to start from a low-paying job so I can be hired and have an "ODesk experience" on my profile. And the ratings from previous employers are important too to have a higher chance of getting another job and/or a higher paying job. I did try to find a higher paying job there, but I forgot to take the tests from those categories! I will try again soon, but I need to finish some projects I already started.
