Richard Levi (SA) Hits Fatest T20 Century......

Richard Levi of South Africa hit the Fastest International T20 Century to take SA level in the T20 series vs New Zealand. He took 45 balls to reach 100, he remained not out at the end of the match with T20 high score of 117* including 13 sixes and 5 fours. Now He has the record of having the most runs by boundaries in a t20 match. NZ scored 173 in 20 overs, SA reached the target of 174 in just 16 overs with 8 wickets left. Now the series is leveled at 1-1, there is one more match left , which will decide the T20 series winner. Share your views...

Hi Ramaswamim This is indeed a great feat. Out India six hitters would be inspired or despaired with this new record I do not know but one thing is sure that in T20 Richard Levi is not sealed with his record for it would be broken sooner or later.

Now the series has become interesting. surely this is the fastest in t20, but afridi's record in odi is not beaten till now. The surprising fact is that R levi hit the ton in his second match, surely an upcoming talent for SA.

Keeping aside the record thing what is left interesting is the series. When the series is leveled at this point, now onward would the game wear interesting turn for sure.

Yes, the series is now at level, both team have a very good chance to win it. And as you said Levi will be a very good upcoming talent for SA.

Heard about that...but not heard about the person himself...must be a strong guy. I could not watch the match, must have been an exciting innings, it was just his 2nd innings and boy did he play well smashing records...excellent!!! The series is open and we can hear much more from Levi...cheers

Yes, he played well and there is no doubt that he did it with full confidence. One can not say that it was a fluke. We are expecting more such innings from him.

ya, Levi is a strong guy, he is a good hard hitter of the ball. This series will be interesting.
