addicted or what?

One day I was walking downtown and a man caught my attention because he was doing something which I've never seen anyone doing it before. I've seen people walking and texting or driving and texting. But this man was walking downtown, holding his laptop with his left arm while his right hand was busy typing. I had to stop to see if he was only doing it for a few minutes to probably do status update, but no, he was really doing online tasks while walking. He is obviously African-American from how he looked. He looked like he wanted to make full use of his time, that even while walking he was keeping himself busy. Have you ever done this before? Do you find this weird? Or is this man really addicted to the net? Share your thoughts please.

Hi cutie 8f, might be it's a coincident that I had seen such similar scene as well. An European man was still busy on his laptop while riding on the escalator going up the shopping mall. I was on the escalator next to him at the same time. He was still engrossing in his typing even others looking at him with amazing eyes. Wow, what a diligent person who always fully made use of his time!
There must be hectic schedules that he should complete in time. Time seemed to be really valuable to him 
This was what that freaked across my mind at that time. He looked so unique among the Asian people riding on the escalator. this was the only man whom I had seen busy with his computer work while going up the mall on an escalator so far.

wow now that indeed is a bit odd, but I think as you said the man was just trying to use his time full way possible, so I think thats' the reason.

though he could get something smaller for that like iphone or something or even ipad which is easier and smaller to carry.

i'd say this man was probably addicted to the net i don't think i'd ever see myself doing this even if i had an online job i wouldn't take my laptop out and continue carrying it surfing the web while holding it. i think its just weird

i think he is already addicted to the net! HAHAHA! think it's really weird to use your laptop in the public.. hello? what if burglars are around and stole it to you? what can you do? so i think its really weird to have public display of whatever you have... good luck to you! :)
