I've been experiencing this, i dont know if its a sickness, a disorder or something but sometimes its just so hard to fall asleep. Everyone is asleep now and my eyes doesnt feel any sleepyness. Seems like my eyes dont get tired even im facing the computer screen for hours. What do you think? Is it my routine? stress? or it is just normal? well, right now, i really need to sleep. just dropping by hoping mylot could help me get sleepy.lol

well, there are lot of medicines and even herbal which are suppose to cure insomnia. the best way is to try a home remedy where it s less expensive treatment. with the traditional way to diminish insomnia is to try to relax your mind by avoiding getting tired so you get a good sleep. do not let you abuse your body as it affect the mind and your thinking so you were unable to sleep. find some comfort in playing music, drinking and taking food which are good to makes you felt sleepy.

I'm so sorry, I wish I could help... but I'm also a little jealous. If you're not tired at all, I guess mylot or some online game would be the best cure. Also, I found listening to Green Day makes me sleepier. But when I'm really addicted to something, I always seem to start yawning, and I try to keep awake, but I just can't! So actually, I'm about to go to bed right now... hope you can catch some sleep too!

we are in the same situation. since i don't have work, i keep myself busy facing in front of the computer and my smart phone. and at night when it is time to sleep, i still cannot sleep so i was just forcing myself to sleep. what i do is drink milk before going to sleep. it helps. it gives you a sound sleep. avoid eating stimulants like chocolates or soft drinks before going to bed.

there are many factors to consider on why you can't sleep, maybe its a habit or you are used to sleeping on different time of the day, it maybe insomnia is attacking you, how long have you been not able to sleep? if sleep deprivation is frequent I suggest you consult a doctor.. try drinking milk, read books or magazine in that case your eyes will get tired eventually.. if nothing else's works..I guess somethings wrong..:)

Hi dongjr, If it's not long term insomnia and you've just started experiencing it then it's probably caused by stress. Due to worry and stress your mind is unable to relax. Your mind is probably cluttered with all kinds of thoughts and you are unable to sleep. Now it's not normal to not sleep. You must to learn to relax and take it easy. If you later develop insomnia the quality of your life will certainly suffer. I know it is easier said than done but you have to take heed now or else it will be detrimental to your health. I've also found that regular exercise helps me to sleep well. Have a nice day.

I identify a lot with your problem.I usually have great difficulty to sleeping. What I usually do is read books in bed, relax and focus me greatly in my breath, drink a warm chamomile tea before going to bed. When I can not even sleep is horrible, because I end up always sleep due to exhaustion and then I wake up the next day too late!I hope this helps.I think it's the stress and routine. Our body needs some time to have routine sleep.

I think it is your daily routine and your body and brain is getting used to it. Which is not good, not getting enough of sleep can cause a lot of things. It might develop into insomia, maybe.

Your insomnia must be from your bad sleeping habits. What I mean by bad sleeping habits is that you're not maintaining a specific time to sleep. You sleep whenever you feel like to which is really not so good for your body. You're messing up your body clock. It is also maybe because you are so stressed that there are many things in your mind. Try doing some rituals before sleep such as soaking in warm water before sleep or drinking warm milk. Avoiding sleeping in the afternoon also helps. Just try it, it might work on you.

Well mylot doesnt help me fall asleep unless there are no discussions on here for me to respond to and that happened to me last night but then i was starting discussions so that helped me out in the end of the day for mylotting so this i dont think is going to help you at all. If you have any PM or Drowsy medicine in the house maybe like benedryl i would try that and see if that helps you to fall asleep and see where you go from there.
