Jeremy Lin show, Linsanity, Lincredible. Lin, Lin, Lin

Hi all, with all the hype that's been going on about the story of a new underdog Jeremy Lin lately, it's pretty obvious that something amazing is about to take place. I'm sure that a lot of people on this site has already posted discussions about this great Asian American rookie, on how he graduated from Harvard then went on for his local team, got rejected from Stanford, was undrafted in the beginning and so on and so forth. Not to mention his unbelievable performances on each game that he played in. That just leaves for what I've got to say about the impact that it's got on me. It's not about J Lin alone, it's more about the essence that these new players such as D.Rose, Blake Griffin have brought into NBA. These guys display tremendous amount of skills, which is btw entertaining to watch and one of the main reasons why people find themselves tuning to NBA once more. What's more part of the phenomenon, in my opinion is because of them breaking the stereotypes in NBA. You know what I mean, Asian American playing brilliant basketball, a seemingly white dude dunking in almost every game that he plays and a lot of other "new flavors" in NBA. It was almost like the time when Tiger Woods broke his, after winning almost every tournament in a white-dominated sport. I don't know about you guys, but I'm seeing this with a very positive attitude and I hope it'll be one of the few steps towards racial unity.

Jeremy Lin is like a breath of fresh air in the NBA! He is what the NBA needs right now! Especailly the Knicks! I am very glad the Knicks signed him and gave him the change to shine when Melo and Stoudemare were out! Looking forword to see how he plays with Melo and Amare Stoudemare! His got game!

Second that, a breath of fresh air indeed! Something that the Knicks would never regret doing - signing him in. He brings out the best in his peers too, and that's what I like most about him, aside from the humbleness and non-attention-seeking attitude of course :)

Lin's story is incredible. As what we saw in his recent performances, he is really talented and has a high basketball IQ. The only he has is his turnovers. But, he's still young and his game will change as his experience matures him. Hopefully, what you said about racial unity will start and erase discrimination.

I think it's great, in a way I think every body are just amazed and just love to see anything that is out of the ordinary or things that we have all gotten used and as you mentioned everybody loves to see an underdog win. So let's just wait and see what happens as he's basketball career progresses

Lin is probably the only player in the nba that has the potential to make more money outside the nba than in it

Jeremy Lin is doing a PHENOMINAL job on the court , hes so humble even when he's he hears racial comments about him he still keeps his Christian faith and stays calm . If he keeps this up , he will be going far and MAY get his 1st ring.

Jeremy Lin name did show up quite often in various Press's sport section and major media network reporting lately. It is LinInsanity, LinMazing and LinCredible in basketball court all over again after Y.Meng. or M.Jordan. No doubt more story will come out for this underdog in the days ahead.

I think if he keeps playing good and doig what he did yesterday he is going to be the man in this sport and people shouldnt sterotype so much becasue you would have seen a while ago that this young man is incrideable. If people were so optimistic about peoples looks they would see that this young man is what he says he is. Just because he has a degree from Harvard doesnt mean anything at all and you cant judge the book by its covers so dont judge a person by its looks.

So it's about his racial background? I can agree to that, but not entirely. If you just substitute Lin and put in somebody else in the exact same situation, well we're talking abt basketball so let's say an African American kid. I'd still believe that the hype would be the same, or at least 80% of it, cuz his case is very unique.
