If it continues and is constant I would contact your Dr. It could be all sorts of things, a pulled muscle, the baby sitting funny and pushing on something it's very hard to say. I had a baby who sat funny and when I got up from sleeping it hurt like heck in my hips for several minutes til I got moving. Again if you are unsure please contact your Dr.

I called my OB and told me to observe it for a day. She thinks that it was just a round ligament pain since my little one's positioned on my right side. Night before the pain was gone, I talked to my little one. I asked him to move a little on my left. Mommy's hurting already. And i started pushing softly my right tummy. I can feel his movements, seems like he's listening to me. :) Then when I woke up, I stand up and still can feel the pain. I talked to him again. Right after i took a shower, it hurts no more. :D I'm very happy that my little one listens to me.

I agree with snugglebunnies that it could be any number of things, including simple 'growing pains' as such or trapped gas. If you still feel this way in a few hours (your post is now 5 hours ago, so if it's still there now) go to the doctor and get it checked out immediately. It may be nothing but you don't want to take that chance. Let us know how you get on!

Hi TheIrishClog, I felt the pain for almost a day. I already called my OB and told me to observe it first. My baby's positioned is on my right side, she said that it might be just a round ligament pain. And if the pain persists, I will be going to her for further check up. Good thing, my little one listened to me. I talked to him, night before the pain was gone. I asked him to move a little to my left side because mommy's already hurting. then i softly pushed my right tummy, directing him to the left side. I felt his movements. And I know he's listening. Morning when i woke up, after shower, I can't feel the pain anymore. :D And I can feel my little one's movements mostly on my left side. ;) I'm really a proud mommy. My little one understands what mommy's trying to say. :D
