how much do you make per discussion/ response?

does anyone mind telling me how much you make per discussion/ response. this is my first day on myLot. and does it actually work? thanks for the feedback in advance.

How earnings are calculated is described in the FAQs here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#15
There is NO set amount 'per post'. It depends on the quality of your participation. Earnings are calculated from midnight to midnight, MyLot time (see the bottom of the page) and are updated the next day between about 9am and 11am.

To know whether it 'works', just look at how long I and many other people have been here - you can see it by looking at anyone's profile. 'Nuff said?

MyLot time simply means 'the time at the moment in Kansas' where MyLot's offices are.
From the FAQs: "The Discussion Rating System is factored into our proprietary earnings algorithm, so this will help us properly reward valuable contributions to the myLot community." The more other people are inclined to rate your posts positively, the better you will earn.

Just to answer your question straight away, and this is based from my observation and my own experience. Yes, responding to discussion really earns you money. But super short responses like "thank you" or "thank you for that insight" or anything a little longer than that might not. I usually post 2-3 sentences, and I think I earn $0.01 each. Of course I do post with meaning as much as possible.
How much you get depends on your activity here. The more active you are here, the more you will earn. Our motto here is ... you type you earn, I type I earn.

I love mylot not only for the money but for the friendships and insights I get from here. Mylot does pay you. I don't think there would be so many people here if they didn't pay. The more you participate, the more you will earn. Hope your enjoying your time here with us! Soon you will be addicted like I am. =)

Try to give a quality post or responses here, sure you will be a mate here. You are advised to give a comment or responses at least two columns tats good enough. Perhaps your answer will select as good responses also. It is one of the best way to earn in mylot and keep improve your performance here. Good Luck. Keep improved! :)
