Hello, all religions are equal. One must be live happy with their religion. All religion give us message of love, respect, duties. Believe in God give us moral power and it all keeps us from evils.

Hi sunil, There is no need for one to be connected to any religion in order to live and die happily, but there are some who seem to need it. In my opinion, while religion helps some people, it brings a lot of unhappiness to others. I feel that parents do a grave injustice to their children by indoctrinating them into a particular belief system. While I'm sure that this will upset some people, I nevertheless believe it to be true. Everyone should be encouraged to make their own decisions as adults. Blessings.

As a Zen practitioner, I don't really have any orthordox religion as I feel that true religion is found within one's self. I am perfectly happy and feel fulfilled - more so than when I was young in school and had to study religion because it was mandatory. I don't know whether dying is a happy experience or not. I don't believe that we have to be happy all the time. I notice personally, that I have learned a lot through pain and discomfort and don't take it personally or think that God is punishing me. There has been a lot of suffering with people who have been very deeply religious, so in my mind, I think I need to take notice and focus on whatever problems I have and learn something from them. It is just where I am coming from. As a Zen practitioner, I share my own feelings, but never interfere with the beliefs of others. It is best to acknowledge fully that I don't know the answers. I don't think anybody does, but life is about discovering them for ouselves and we will each come from a different point of view.. _Derek

I believe in God or a higher power or the formless but I do not believe in religion as it was invented by man to dominate the weak and the poor class so they would do as they were told! God or the formless or whatever spirit is out there had help me in my every day life but religion have not! do I need religion to live and die happily? no I don't.

Your question seems like the question "Why do we need to have a name?" Religion is vital because as stated in the Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, the sense of belongingness is essential for man to be fulfilled with his/her life. Having a religion does not mean having many obligations and many restrictions but it is a way of living a life worthwhile where one would be sure that they could not make other peoples lives miserable.

First of all I do believe that religion exists but the thing is I don't believe the religion itself can save you when you die. I guess its your faith, belief and love for GOD that will save us all, a person can die happy in any ways.. so I think we shouldn't rely more on it perhaps put a direct communication with LORD, follow all HIS commandments, do good to others, love GOD above all and there you'll die happy

We don't really need a religion. There are thousands of religion. Could worshiping God be so confusing as all of the religions that exist? So, we need the truth. We need to know the truth about God. The truth is what really counts and we won't be misled into believe things that are not real.

I don't have a religion, and I am a prime example of how someone can be content and fulfilled without having a higher power involved in their life. I find it kind of freeing to be honest. And I don't think a person's religion determines how fulfilling their lives will me. But that's just my opinion, we're all entitled to our own after all. . Happy MyLotting! And welcome to MyLot by the way!

in my life i never doubted GOD as my savior my king . I was born and my parents chosen my religion and i dont have regrets in it. I will die and stand for my religion for here i learned and understands about GOD. I feel GOD soo much in everyday of my life.. In my Downfall to upside of my life i know he has planned everything . I respect all religion each of us have. And in some instances of my life i learned about them . How we believe in our religion, thats same as how other religions too. honestly, i believe we are brothers and sisters.

We don't need religion to be happy. I believe in God, but not in religion. I don't need it to be a good person or to be happy. Every person reacts in different way, so that's your principle. :)

have much reason in saying that I sometimes think that God exists other not think that, there may be many things he can interact but the other does nothing to improve or even worsened for

We don't necessarily need one, I'm an atheist. I don't have a religion. I don't feel the need for one in order to be happy and I'm certainly not alone in that.

we really need a religion to live happy because when we are connected with any religion then we are also connected with the view and thoughts of that religion.and that things gives us a motivation to live life happily. and if we are not with any religion then there is possibility that we can not go in right way to live life because then we are surrounded with many miscellaneous thoughts that creates problem to understand the life.
