Some people think they are powerful because they have a lot of money in the bank. Some are fearless because they carry guns wherever they go. Others enjoy moving around because they can travel in their modern cars and even jet planes. These people really don't know what makes a truly powerful. When we are alone we take time to reflect and observes ourselves, we realize that we have many gifts and abilities within us. We do not need to keep these gifts in the bank like what we do in our money or park them in a large garage like what people do with their cars. These inner powers found deep inside us, are the powers that count most and therefore make us great men and women. When we develop and strengthen them, they become more precious values. They inspire and guide us in our behavior. They give meaning to our every thought, word and deed. They make us truly strong and alive.

A person's belief system is what makes his own inner power. As the previous commenter has said, spirituality is at play and has a really interesting role in nourishing your inner power. However, these belief system is nothing if it isn't shared. And that's what really makes it challenging. A personal belief is something that is hard to impose on others as they may have their own belief system. But this I think is how inner powers are measured. If your belief system has the capacity to improve your life and make that person a good example that could impact other lives in a good way, then I can say that that person is indeed powerful. Inner power isn't good enough if it only masters oneself. If that power is cascaded to people, and brings about an impact so good that you influence more people, then that power is inspired and true.

I think we all have that kind of inner power in ourselves. I like to call that inner power as "God". what do you think? and I think this inner power has something to do with spirituality also..
