Ryanair - Wrong Passport Expiry Date - What to Do?

Ireland

I was just checking in for a flight online with Ryanair and managed to accidentally scroll down to the wrong year for the date of expiry on my passport (only one year in the difference) and only noticed it after I submitted it and by then it was too late! If I manage to get through to their customer service number, will they change it free of charge? If I don't get it changed, will I get away with flying anyway with incorrect date, will they notice and refuse?

I have never had to deal with that but I would say if they didn't offer to change it free of charge, I'd ask if I coul get away with flying though the expiry is one year off. If they say yes I'd take down their name for partial proof if you do come across any problems. Let's hope the change will be free of charge, after all to err is human.

To err is indeed human SomeCowgirl, but in this case I blame my over sensitive touch pad :) Never thought of taking down the name if I asked, will definitely keep that in mind for when I eventually get credit tomorrow and get a chance to phone them. Thank you.
