Is it true that ESPRIT will leave USA market?

Perhaps because of the bad economy, but isn't that all over and not just in the US? I feel like E-Spirit isn't all that big of a brand here. I just don't see it all that much. Occasionally at Macy's. Maybe it's just not doing as well as it is in other countries. I don't own anything e SPIRIT, and I don't really plan on it, so it doesn't bother me much!

As I understood it, ESPRIT stores in the US and Canada aren't really doing too well. In fact, it's losing money. You might be right that it could have something to do with the economy. The retail clothing industry has had some big-named stores close shop since last year, and it seems that a lot more are following suit. This Hong Kong-based brand is however doing great in the European market. But there are other clothing companies in the US that are still reaping in revenues. So maybe it could also be that most Americans and Canadians don't prefer the style of clothes ESPRIT carries anymore.
