My favourite Soap

Do you watch Soaps? I really only watch one, Y&R. Years ago, a friend turned me onto it and I've been hooked ever since, I watch almost every day but Fridays seem to be the best although they sometimes have a cliff hanger til Monday which sometimes is frustrating but I guess that's part of the fun of watching it. I like the characters especially the ones that have been on the show from the beginning like Victor Newman and Nikki and their Kids, Victoria and Nick. I love that Victor and Nikki have an on and off again marriage/relationship, it reminds me of mine because I think I have a Love/Hate relationship/marriage too. Ha!Ha! Anyway, Victor and Nikki should really try to stay together because they know each other so well now. Other characters that I like are Jack Abbott and Katherine Chancellor. Jack was shot recently and although the doctors say he'll never walk again, I can tell that he is determined to prove them wrong , WAy to GO , Jack, got luv him! Katherine the matriarch of the show has been there from the beginning and I love her spunk and drive, that's how she became so rich and famous, I think.

I remember when I was in highschool I used to watch soaps and would call my friends on the phone and ask them if they saw what happened or ask them what you thought about that. I work second shift now and I am older and I started to watch Y & R again but really have no interest in them anymore. I like reality shows now and spend most of my time watching them.

It really became my favorite when Amelia Heinle joined the cast as Victoria since she is one of my favorite actresses. I had been watching it when doing exercise and stuff but since she joined I never miss it like I would occasionally before then. It took a couple of years for them to really give Amelia a chance to show what a great actress she is especially with comedy. That is why the early story line of Victoria and Billy getting together caught on so well. I think most of the fans of the show would like to see more of the more fun Victoria and Billy story.

I love Y and R myself. I have been a fan for years. My cat Smyles also loves the show. He hisses every time Victor and Billy comes on. It is funny. I wish that Nicki and Victor would stay together. I wish they would get rid of Sharon and Adam as well as Daisy. Why Daisy was ever released from jail is beyond me. I do feel bad for Jack but am glad that he is determined to learn to walk again.
