ok like many of you today since 4 this mornin i have been surfing the web on paranormal stuff and unknown creature sightings and everything and i thought all of this stuff was pretty interesting and was sitting here thinking i wanna be a researcher on stuff like this be with a group of friends and go out into the woods and stuff with a camera and investigate on weird things going on, but then i was also thinking that sometimes some of the investigations come up as hoaxes and what not so i thought i'd ask what do you fellow mylotters think?

I believe all paranormal sightings are not real. Every time they investigate this stuff they come out empty. As much as I'd like to believe there are wonderful things in this world we've yet to discover, time and time again they come out empty. No evidence, just a story a dodgy guy tells people.

i guess you just have to experience something really paranormal in order to believe in it as much as i do, i believe in ghosts, spirits and creature sightings. cause i once lived on land where my family owns and no one is really allowed to come on but our family and what not and i have actually seen spirits and ghosts do some crazy stuff there. and then i remember when my aunt took us out to the woods with her boyfriends and they were driving there trucks around and dont get me wrong these were 4x4 wheel drive trucks and could handle any terrain like nothing and they were just driving and out of no where this big creature came from behinmd some bushes and just flipped the other truck we got scared and drove back to the house that night and went back the next day to investigate.

Yet there's never been any proof... What can I say? I believe that you believe it, but that doesn't make it reality. I'm just naturally sceptical about this stuff.

I am someone who believes in the paranormal, and if you are going to get involved in doing it, I suggest joining a group of people who know what they are doing. There is so much unknown, and going into anything blindly is never a good idea. Good luck

but going into and doing something blindly can be so entertaing and can give me a good rush not only that i dont think i would need an expert i think most of them just sit around and do nothing i wanna be just a group who gets out there and just does things for people and bring in real answers and not hide alot of them.

I agree it can be entertaining, but if your motivation is giving people answers, you want to be taken seriously. They will never show on t.v. 100% proof, just like they will never tell us for 100% aliens exist, or anything like that. And really the people that go out and do this know what they are getting into and how to protect themselves. Just be careful. :)

I think the majority of what people think is paranormal activity is more of their imaginations and a want to believe than anything that strange. But there is clearly still a lot we don't know about and haven't seen, even a good deal of the earth remains largely unexplored or inhabited by humans. On the flip side, science does the same thing. Though more often what they say is fairly valid they still have their share of jumping to conclusions. Either way you look at things. It's always best to do some research and come to your own conclusion. If your conclusion is more research needs to be done on that topic, then by all means go for it.
