i never had a passion for writing until i became a mother. i decided to make a blog and write about my mommy journey. i have joined parenting forums to be able to learn more about parenthood through experiences of different mothers, and then share my little knowledge on being a mother. from then on, my passion for writing is continually increasing and the desire to be a writer never leave my heart. i may not be that good in English language and some employers really require you can write in native English. but surely through reading and writing practices, i can improve little by little until i can proudly say i can write professionally. for now, i am reading different blogs and studying their different writing styles. for now, i write from my heart, from my thoughts... and for me it is priceless.

Hi shylade! I love writing too and I have been writing since I was in my elementary days. Keeping a diary helped me in my teen years especially when I don't understand other people and my own emotions. It is nice to pour out your feelings in paper. It feels as if you have a friend who listens to your every whine. Right now, I have several notebooks full of my thoughts and short stories and I enjoy reading them all. Makes me reminisce the old times. Just keep doing what you are doing because writing is really fun! Not everyone is gifted to love and appreciate this practice!

Yeah maybe some people have it but they have not discovered it yet. But once you discover it, you will really be happy that you like writing so much and it likes you back

I am also into writing, I write topics regarding health, fitness and other stuffs, i am a nurse so might as well use my knowledge into writing, actually I write for triond. I really wanted to have a blog but then I know some blogs needs money to buy a domain name, so I go first for triond and if I can accumulate enough money to buy for a domain I would definitely go for it.

that's also what i aspire for, to have my own domain. this is because free blogs can be deleted anytime and i don't want all what i have worked for just got to dust. we can make it with God's guidance. thanks for the response.

I want to write too. It never came into my mind that I wanted to be a writer. I'm currently reading some books about writing. I have too may ideas but the problem is that I find my grammar and my English sucks. To be an effective writer, one must have a great idea plus the proper use of the English language. When you do have the heart to write you will never ran out of ideas. To be a writer is priceless. I consider that writing is really such a great thing to do. Every one will find it so beneficial. Our reader will learn something for us.

i agree. a great grab of English language is a major requirement always with the writing job. we really need to read more and practice writing so we can be a good writer. that is why i am into blogging though i am using friendly tone most of the times. i am not trying to please my readers because i am me and i will not want to be a show off only. good luck to us and hopefully we can be a good writer one day.

I recommend a book I read before I became a dad. "PET - Parent Effectiveness Training" it's really good stuff. It teaches you how to raise kids in a good way and without violence. It's like the "third way" of parenting. Some parents are too strict. Some are too passive. But this book teaches you how to best respond to situations and to create a great relationship between you and your children. It really made sense to me, hope you'll check it out. As far as your site goes, think about submitting it to mylot and try to increase your backlinks. Research SEO on your favorite search engine.

i am also not a writer but i wrote a few entries on a blog before. same with you, i resumed writing when i became a mom very recently, i always visit parenting forums too and most of the moms there are bloggers and i find it interesting too. so i wrote a pregnancy journal when i got pregnant. i stopped now since i have given birth already and had no time writing again. i am not very good in writing but like you again, i write from the heart, especially if your writing about something you love, like in my case, i wrote about my baby, that for me is priceless. :-)
