it is a very costly spices. it coast of 15-20 lakhs per kg of black turmeric. it is usefull for medicine for cancer such as diseases. it seems in the central india adhrapradesh it is very costly and preciouse spice

hi, it's the first time I've heard of black turmeric, thanks for telling me and my curiosity was aroused so I did some reading and found out that it's on the verge of extinction
,perhaps that's the reason why it's costly. Anyway I think people where it is found should make a concerted effort to conserve it cause it's used to treat many kinds of diseases yeah and who knows it could be the elusive cure we are all looking for.
