I need to run Redovery Console on my laptop, but I haven't got a CD Containing Recovery Console (I only have Windows XP SP3 CD without RC). I though of booting recovery console from USB. I've downloaded needed files, but I didn't manage to boot from USB. I've changed boot priority to USB (Transcend Jetset 8GB). Every reply would be appreciated.

Windows and booting from flash drives have never been your friends. I'm assuming you downloaded the Recovery console as a .iso file? You need to convert that to a live flash drive format. I've used one for linux live drives for a long time, but I'm not sure if it will work on windows. Unetbootin. Again, not sure if that will work for windows, but that's as much as I know about recovery consoles.
