I remember when I was 18, I wanted to go on a mission for the LDS church. I was so excited that it was hard to think about anything else. About a year later I decided to start working and gave up going. Now that I am older, I have this pull to go on a mission. I have always wanted to go to the Philippines, Australia, and India. Lately though, the pull is more to the Philippines. I think that YAHVAH has placed it in my heart to go, but my problem is funding. Have any of you been on a mission, or wanted to go? If you did, where did you go? I have heard many stories about people who have gone and loved it. What was your experience?

God's use believer's to spread the true Gospel to any nations. He use them to share, spread the Word of God so they will know and accept Jesus.True missions is those who preach the true Jesus, the savior and not the religion..

Thank you for your response. I agree with you that it is the true religion that needs to be preached. I have to do just that or I will be judged for not sharing it the right way. Or for preaching another gospel. It must be done the way Paul did it. Well, thank you and have a great evening... :) :)

I think part of being "called" to a mission is the funding. Pray about it and if God wants you to go, He will show you how to get the funding. Be sure you're praying for His will and not for your own, though!

Thank you. I will. It is something I have been thinking about for a long time now, and I know that the Almighty puts things in our hearts too.... I was also wondering if others have been on one. What their experiences were like... and the like. Have a great evening ... :) :)
