"Otomen are Japanese boys that excels both in military and literary art. They love cooking, sweet stuff, glittery stuff and all other girl stuff". I so love this Japanese drama! It focuses on Masamune Asuka as an otomen but he has to hide his true self and act like a real guy because his mother made him promised so. He hid all his sewing stuff, his teddy bears, his skills in cooking and all that and focused on kendo (even became the captain of the kendo club at school) to appear manly in front of everyone. His father left them when he was still little because he wanted to become a woman. But Asuka is not gay and he doesn't want to become a woman! In fact, he likes his high school classmate Miyakozuka Ryo who is the exact opposite of him. She likes guy stuff and is bad at cooking. There's too much humor in this drama that I began to like the lead character. Of course, because he's handsome, too!!! LOL There are other characters that are so funny like the fat teacher and Isono, Asuka's classmate and a kendo team member, too. I so love this drama!!!!! :D

It sounds so great, I wish I could get the program on my dish! Maybe I should check anyhow. I feel for the guy, having to act contrary to his nature because of a promise. Especially with having to hide his sewing stuff and teddy bears (I would go nuts having to hide my teddy bears because I make them and have around 50 on display at all times!!) Hummm, maybe I can find tapes of it offered on Amazon booksellers. I've got to see this program! It sounds too cool!!!!

50???? That's not a lot. I don't doubt that you love teddy bears. ^^ Yup. It's available online. Try mysoju.com there's a lot of Japanese dramas there. You don't have to buy it amazon. If you don't want to watch it online, you can even download it through torrent. I downloaded it through torrent but it took me a while because it only has few seeds since it's kind of an old drama.

Watching anything from the Asian area reminds me of the time that I lived in Thailand for 9 months. I loved living there and would love to go back. While I was there I got to go to Japan, Taipei, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Laos, Taiwan, and Guam. I loved the cultures and the ways of life in the various countries. Watching the program will bring back fond memories.
