Whole day computer??

I do not know if I am considered as computer addict but one thing is for sure I always use my computer everyday for, maybe, 12 hours a day. Once I wake up I usually open my laptop and go to the websites I usually go. From morning til evening before I go to sleep, I am in front of my computer most of the time. I only stop using my laptop when I go to the bathroom or to take care of my baby.
Before when I was still single, Every time I don't have work I am always in front of my laptop til midnight.
Am I considered an addict? LOL! How about you myLotters? How long do you use your computer? :)

Lol, you're definitely an addict, though, I can only say the same for myself since I rather not use cable and spend hours at a time on netflix or youtube. (my pc is hooked up to my 40" flatscreen) Other times, I would be researching about cars, technology, and etc. So I would say I spend about 8 solid hours on the computer if I don't have anything important to do or its the weekend, Lol!

lol yes you are computer addict in my view anybody who use computer for more than 4 hrs is an addict to computers.But its also true that we are compelled to use computers more in present time so no harm if you are getting good work out of them

I can probably relate! I spent most of my time in front of the computer. My son is currently reading right now. Yes, we are computer addict. I know I have to break this kind of habit because it can interrupt my other activities. I consider it as my break because after this, I have to work in the outside world.

Sounds like computer addiction to me too. I had the same for a couple of months, the first thing and the last thing in the day was the internet and so was in the rest of the day... It was kind of like seeking refugee from the stress of every day's life. When my laptop broke I didn't know what to do for days and was very upset... but I can definitely tell there is life outside of the internet. Maybe you should also start doing something else too that you are interested in.

Poor eyes.It may give you a huge headache somewhere after. Fixing the screen for so long your eyes will have a good strain. You lucky if your eyesight doesn't go down. My eye doctor told me one time to much in front of the screen is not good for your eyes.

i usually dont clock out until i've been on my computer for atleast 18 hours, literally i have tons of games i jut want to play everytime i wake up so when i wake up its breakfast something to drink then straight to my computer to play games and work here some. even though i do need to work here more then anything my gaming need are more important in my opinion(: so you are not alone my friend :D

Everyone has some kind of addiction. I really believe it's human nature. You happen to love your computer. Nothing wrong with it at all. I love being on my computer also but can't spend 12 hrs. a day because my eyes would be crossed by the time my day was complete. I do work online on various sites but have to also make time for our family and give my body a break. Guess I am on the computer 4-6 hours a day when I am home doing laundry or something that doesn't always require my undivided attention in the house.

You are really a computer addict! 12 hours a day is not normal for me.
Well, when I was younger I used to be like that. 
But not
anymore, I've managed successfully to limit my computer hours everyday.
I just usually use computer now 4 hours a day. 7 hours is the maximum
for me, but usually just 4 hours.

Maybe yes cause you are quite on the way to that lol.
I also used computer daily,of course due to work and surf the net at night after work.Just about 2 to 4 hours at home but during weekends I can go as far as 12 hours of continuous used of computer.

i consider you an addict. yeah. LOL. i just visit my computer if i have something to do. i am just staying here for about 2 to 4 hours. of i don't finish my work on that given time, i will rest first for about 3 hours then continue again. find yourself another hobby to avoid becoming a computer addict. it is dangerous. :)

The question you have to ask yourself is this, what would happen if one day I can't use my computer?
Whenever I come back from university, when I wake up or there's just nothing better to do I'm using the computer as well, and yes I'm kind of addicted to it. But not that much, I've had days without electricity and I just had to do without a PC, it's no the end of the world.
