Why they continue spreading rumors without any basis at all.

Just a quick one, a while ago, my sister and I are having some discussion on the issues being faced by the Officers of our Subdivision. As some Home Owners are complaining regarding the fee that being collected as payment for the installation of Maynilad Water connection. That according to some, the Officers are using the fund that is why they are collecting a higher fee payment for the installation. Hence, this is not true, as the Officers are not really getting any amount from that Maynilad Fund. In addition, the Officers are just doing a voluntary job for the Subdivision and yet they are accused of this wrong doing. Despite of the accusation they are receiving, still, the Officers are doing their best to do their voluntary act. But, still some of the HomeOwners are still continuing spreading rumors and do rumor mongering without any basis at all. Thus, my sister have just told me, often times, empty barrels really makes a lot of noise.

There are too many people out there who are wasting their time by making rumors on other people's life.It is quite irritating and annoying to see those people.I do experience it right now from I assume to be a friend but stab me at my back by telling rumor about me which is definitely not true.I would like to confront him about it but I think it is just a waste of time.It is up to him to spread it as long as it is not true.I just be enjoy my life in doing things that I enjoy.Life is to short to waste time to those people.

Indeed. Life is too short to waste it to unnecessary things such as gossiping. But, I really cannot understand why there are some people who still dwell on this. As they dont realize what they are doing is not a productive thing to do.

It's often the case when good officers are doing something beneficial to all still others are accusing them of doing not good. Others are being unreasonable without waiting the outcome. Although there are officers too who are taking advantage of their posts using the homeowners money for their personal advantage. Anyway if they're doing good the people could see as they would feel comfort as the surroundings are clean, there are garbage collectors, there are security guards, there are funds for special occasions and much better if they are transparent with their collections. The homeowners could see where their contributions go. If this would hapen there would be no doubts.

I have heard a lot of rumours about myself over the years, and I will admit that a lot of them have actually made me laugh because of the fact that they're so untrue and bizarre. I don't know where some people get these rumours from, but all that I can think is that there is somebody out there who is so bored that they feel as if they need to make the lives of other people a misery to make themselves feel better about the fact that they all live sad and pathetic lives. I would never make up any rumours about anybody at all.

Some people cannot help themselves when it comes to gossip and speculations. I guess sometimes the truthfulness of the matter is not the matter of the issue but the only thing that they wanted is something to talk about. even if the issue is resolved or even the truth comes out, some people will not believe it in spite of the facts presented.
many people think gossip is harmless, but it can be a weapon used against people whoa re the subject of the gossip. It can strain relationships and sometimes, can lead to very awkward circumstances and situations. Eventually, someone has got to give just to restore everything in balance.

It won't gonna be a rumor if there's a basis. You can't really imposed people what their beliefs is. The more you think of that rumor, that rumor will just be ruin your reputation.

hi airasheila,
those gossipers just have a lot of time to kill so they'd rather waste it by making, confirming and spreading rumors. we can't help complain about those gossipers but it's just normal to have different hobbies in life. i, too, criticize a lot but don't talk about it to other people except my family. so some people are acting wise but there are also those who are wiser.

some people thrive in their lives by talking about people. and some people listen to them because they sound interesting and fantastic to believe. that's why there are TV shows about rumors and gossips. in the case of your homeowners, they try to undermine the work of the officers because they do not have something worthwhile to do.
