it's hot here in the philippines

We here in Canada are complainer too, when winter is here we don't like it because it is cold, lots of snow, and storms, and when the summer is here well, it is so hot and wish that the Fall and Winter would be here. well it is O.K. I'm one of them,complainers.

Summertime is really here. Couldn't even sleep last night. Need to buy some cheap air conditioner to cool down these weather.

I love the summer season! This is the time when we go to the beach and have fun. As an alternative we can go to pool resorts or even go mountain climbing or hiking. We can do more things in the summer than in any other season so I love it!

That's the philippines, my friend. We don't expect anything changes about the weather but still hot even if we called it winter...

During school days of course I really like summer to the extent that I can rest and do anything what I want without worrying for anything. Aside from that of course I can swim that is why I like it. Though I just hate the feeling of being lazy at times. And if I am home I just hate it that I am forced to open our air conditioned here inside my bedroom because it is really too hot even if I already have my fan opened.

I think we should just make do of what we have and look at the positive side of the heat, I can smell that it's time to have fun in the beach with family, friends and workers!, a lot of fiestas are on the way and time to go to the provinces to visit folks and relatives, electricity cost will go up because of the aircon but the children would also be on vacation so it's savings on gas, pocket money, lunch etc.., No typhoons and flooding for now WOW!,lots of cheap fruits and bountiful harvests!etc... When I think of all this, I just thank God for what he gave to our country, yes let's make do with it so let's all start having fun!

I am still lucky because it's not as hot in Manila where I live even if it's a mere forty-five minute drive from Manila. The nights can still be cold here that if I use an electric fan it would be so cold so I just let the cool natural breeze cool the rooms of our house. Our weather bureau has forecasted a very hot summer for us, but I don't want to believe them.

You are right! I can feel the heat now! And this is the time to hit the beach and visit some places with friends or family.But don't get burned by the sun outside use umbrellas, apply lotions with SPF to prevent skin darkening and sun burns.Wear comfortable clothes and drink lots of water and fruit juices hahahah..I was carried away sorry :)

This kind of season is inevitable. We have to embrace this season. Summer is in the air already. It is the season where some foreigners will come here in the Philippines to enjoy the hotness.

Totally agree with you. I like hot but not this kind of hot, this is to hot already. It can give you a head stroke or even get a skin cancer. Gush looking forward to go to the beach

Yeah it is really quite hot now.Here in Pasig it rain for awhile this afternoon but still hot.Summer is really fast approaching and I'm really excited to summer outings that gonna happen.We already planning in the office to which we gonna go this summer.

I love summer and the heat. In our place which is only a few kilometers from Tagaytay, the heat is bearable. While the weather has gotten warmer, we still have the cold winds especially in the late afternoon. I am not much into the cold and rainy days because it makes me lethargic. Summer means more swimming, more outings and certainly more fun. It's really more fun in the Philippines.

Last night, it was chilly at 15degC. Today, it feels like 23degC The rest part of the country seem like hotter than here in Cordillera particularly in Ambaguio, Nueva Vizcaya

Hi erjnsimon, Hot only in philippines, here too in India summer starts. Its getting very hot day by day. Going out in this hot is very diffcult here. I used to get wet in hot very soon while I am out. Its safe to stay in shadow for more time in this seasons. I think in philippines it will be less heat comparing to Inida.

It's really hard to get some sleep when it's hot. At the peak of summer, even the fans aren't useful anymore since they're just circulating the hot air inside our rooms. Sometimes I'd rather sleep outside in the yard. It's cooler there and it saves on electricity bill for not turning on the AC. I think a lot of us really do love summertime but are not that fond of the hotness. I myself don't feel as productive when it's too hot.
