New OS - Bada, What's it worth?

I've recently heard about this new OS Samsung has developed. I saw their newest version and it seems like it can be quite competitive in my opinion. I, especially, like the moving wallpaper function.
It also includes functions similar from Apple and Android. Although I think that not being original isn't good, Samsung seems to have its way in taking ideas and combining them into something better. Plus, I really like the specs of the new Samsung Bada.
So do you think the new OS has it's worth?

Many people are using new phones with the latest version but they only use few of the availabe features---making a call and texting only.
I have noticed rich people in my country are always changing their mobile phones to newly released phones. Buying and having expensive mobile phones seem to show the level of their social status. Like I said, they only use the phone for voice calls and SMSes.
