Hi friends, This is a standard question umpires ask an Indian captain when they know that opposition batsman is OUT according to RULES! But when an Indian faces similar situation they just give OUT straight away and keep POKER FACE! See the difference. So this 'spirit of cricket' and 'will you reconsider the appeal' things should be kicked away from Cricket so that all teams play by the same rules and no one can take the advantage of 'spirit of cricket' by putting opposition team under moral obligation. JUST FOLLOW RULES. Please share your thoughts and ideas. Happy mylotting!

Hi Wismay Thats where is like Ganguly as a leader,he never cared about what players from other countries think about Indian team , in short he never cared about PR at all. While Dhoni is always interested in this spirit of cricket stupidity .You see what happened with Srilanka, they did throw a no ball to stop Sehwag from century , which was against so called spirit of cricket, and when India did appeal against thiramanne ,instead of thanking Indian team for taking the appeal back their captain showed arrogance that appeal was not correct.Same is with Aussies ,they will try every dirty tactic to win .So why to display this one sided concept of spirit of cricket when you get dirty tactics in return.Just play to win,to hell with PR.

Hi grvdubey, yes, Mahela was speaking non sense by saying 'he plays neat and clean cricket' as if appealing for 'mankded' was not clean and cheating. Actualy batsmen should not leave non-striker end before the ball is delivered. If they do according to rules a bowler can claim run out. Mahela is either hypocrite or doesn't know rules. That is why it is left to umpires to enforce rules rather than intangible 'spirit of cricket'.

Yes you are right. Indian cricketers are treated very differently at times. They seem to have two set of rules and surprisingly the umpires get away with it.
