A Silly Question but interesting - Try to answer it

Hi, In my childhood I asked a question for my social teacher. Instead of answering for that question he beaten me with stick. I just wanted to share you all the question. Not only sharing question, I am expecting a quick and smart answer from you all. The answer what you are going to give will reflect your way of thinking and your smartness. Here the question goes: Our shadow will fall on earth right, then where the shadow of earth will fall?? Hello myLotters don't slap me after reading this question :-), just try to give a smart answer which reflects your way of thinking.

Bad teacher. Because that was a legit question. Well, do you know why there are lunar eclipses? Because the shadow of the earth falls on the moon. And do you know why there is night? That is, in fact the shadow of earth.

Hi, I will say the shadow of the earth fall on all the objects which comes in line with sun and earth,but earth shadow will be appeared only when the shadow falls on bigger object when compared to earth. what do you say..

Hi, you are right, to be clear, the shadow of earth will fall on any object which will come in line to sun and earth, but the shadow will be appeared only when the shadow falls on big object when compared to earth. What do you say..

Firstly your teacher was a bad person, fancy any teacher doing that, probably because you caught him out, he didn't know what to say to you. Well I am not the smartest but I would say that maybe the earth is not close enough to anything to throw a shadow and it always looks pretty black out there whenever they show pictures of earth... Is there a correct answer to this..?

Hi, let us assume human being is a small object and earth is big object. we are standing one earth and the sun rays falls on us and the shadow of ours falls on earth which is a big object when compared to us. Similarly sun rays falls on earth and the shadow of the earth falls on a big object when compared to earth in the universe. Do you agree?
