what would make me buy a ps4, even if I have a ps3

I just had my ps3 2 years ago, so its not yet that old, It kinda pisses me of that there is going to be a ps4 to be released next year. I just had my freaking ps3.
I dont know if I am going to like ps4, ps3 is the era of DLC, and paid DLC is my most hated breakthrough in the videogame history. The games in ps4 might be unfinished and to complete them you might have to buy dlc.

I dont really care if graphics will improve more cos ps3 graphics is realistic enough already. so what would make me buy a ps4?
BACKWARDS COMPATABILITY-If ps4 have that feature, I will buy it. when you say backward compatibity, it means PS4 can also play games from ps1, ps2 and ps3. if there is backwards compatibity, I can get rid of my older consoles and have uses for my older cd's. Plus its going to be hard to enjopy the early stages of ps4 cos there will be few games to choose from.

feature, the games are most likely to have the same graphics with ps3, I guess games will have higher memories. But what gives me fears is that its going to be DLC oriented.
lets say I gave have 30 stages, But once you purchased the disk it will only have 10 stages, the other 20 stages, you will buy them.

haha spot on dude.I hate it when the dlc comes out the same day the game comes out.I mean ,comeon you could have already included those stuff ingame.As far as ps4 is concerned i think it wont come out untill 2015.Sony recently patanted a kinect type 3d motion device,so i guess we will see an advance or better version of ps mvoe when ps4 comes out.Also graphice will be better,backward compatibility should be there too.:)

They better extend it up top 2015, 2020 better. I think Wii U will be released this year and I heard that X-box 720...whatever it is. I wish the dlc system will get obsolete. they just should give us fully finished complete games. My most hated DLC are the "DISK LOCKED CONTENT" lol its already in the disk and you will pay for it.

I just bought my PS3 a few month ago. I don't think i am gonna buy PS4 if they are launch. I usually an extreme gammer who spent most of my time playing game. But since i graduate from college and have a job, i become less and less frequent playing game. Now i only play a game an hour or two in a week. So with that phase i think i can play PS3 For ten years and only ending a few games. So i think i never buy ps4.

I think the first few years of Ps4 will be boring, games will be expensive and there will be lack of variety on its titles. I might buy it five years after release.

Well it might be the case. When Playstation 3 launch, people keep holding to their Playstation 2. And even when there are many next gen console, playstation 2 can still keep up for a few years. Maybe when the console and the game price is drop, then people will start buying it. For now, i have no intention of buying a new console.

another upcoming console is the New X-box which is rumored to be called X-box 780 and it is said to be unable to play second hand disk.

The only thing that would make me buy a PS4 is if the graphics are so good for the games they look infinitely better than PS3 and if they stopped making PS3 games and only made PS4, and if it were backwards compatible to play PS3 games since that's what I would really want out of it, then I would sell my PS3 to my older brother.

I really dont know if how much more improvement the graphics will have since ps3 already have impressive graphics, I guess maybe characters will have more realistic strands of hair during gameplay. I think first few years of ps4 will be boring so backwards compatability is really important.

Lol, I know the feeling, I wouldn't be too concern with buying a PS4 just yet, since im pretty sure with ANY game console or electronic, there's bound to be bugs and glitches. If anything, I would wait for a friend of MINE to buy one and then play it to see how it is, lol, but even now, I still play with my PS2, (Hacked of course) Good Times, :)

Ps2 era is my favorite gaming era because its very diverse, There are so many Niche games. Ps3 era relied too much in cliche and safe formula. In PS3 era Horror game series were turned into action games. Then most titles are first person shooters. ps2 era have so much variety. :(
