I'm scared of...

You can ask me to bungee jump, you can ask me to rappel down a steep slope, you can ask me to go paragliding or jump off an airplane and deploy a chute, but you can never, ever, ever ask me to touch, let alone come close to a snake, small or big, thin or thick, alive or dead. No way, Jose! Even the thought of it scares me. You could offer me a million dollars or ten but I would never, ever hold a snake (I'll probably think about it if it's dead but without a reward, no way!) During our trip to Bohol, we had to stop at the most uninteresting (at least for me) place-- The Python Shack. It is uninteresting for me for two reasons: First, the Python itself. Why would I want to see something I am scared of? Second, they said that the pyton is gonna be asleep anyway. Even if I am the adventurous type and even if I love snakes, why would I see something hibernating? I just can't wrap myself with the idea of appreciating snakes. Maybe if it's hairy, cuddly and does not have the instincts to crush my bones to dust to devour me then I would entertain the idea of snakes. Sheesh... I get goosebumps just by writing this.
