A lot of my friends has been recommending The Hunger Games trilogy. They say I will get hooked with that book. For now, my interest lies on inspirational books like OG Mandino or Mitch Albom but I want to as well. I just want to make sure first before I buy. Is it true that it has a great story? Anyone who read the book? How was it?

Like me, a lot of my online friends had recommended me the Hunger Games. It's not a new book. Ever since it has came out, it has always been recommended to me. I didn't see why it was so much hyped because whenever I read the synopsis, nothing interests me about the story. And then news about the movie came out, the hype about the book has become stronger. I finally decided I will read. And I did. I now finished the first book. And OMG! The book is really exciting! It has a lot of adventure in it. I thought I was not gonna like it because I'm more interested in books that are about romance but this one still definitely great. It has romance in it too and a lot of adventure. It is definitely a page-turner. I just couldn't stop reading it when I started.

It's good you enjoyed the book. My friends also told them about it and I haven't known anybody yet who doesn't like the story.

I am currently reading the second book and I finished the first. I'll probably borrow the movie when it comes out but I will finish the books and review them.

i am not fond or reading books, i just want to read books if i can borrow a book to someone. one time we went to have a picnic with my friends and i see her book, titled HUNGER GAMES. i didn't finish it because she must return it also by the end of the day to the owner of the book. i just read it when others are busy preparing in the picnic. i almost read i think 50 pages. i was hooked by the story. it is nice because of its attack. it is different to other suspense book. if i had time, i want to continue reading that book. try to read it... i think also, the story is about survival of the fittest, which the players will kill each other until only one will survive. :) goosebumps, while writing my comments here. i can't get enough of what i read. like the story.

My friend also thinks I will get hooked reading it. I plan to read it before the movie is shown here in our country because if I watch it first on the big screen, I might not want to read the book anymore. Thanks!
