Western stuff that i want to be popular in our country

There are some things that is now part of the norm in many western countries that I wish would be a part of our country's norm. Well yeah there are aspects of our culture that i want to keep. The following things I will mention is now part of many western societies but I wish these things will be part of our culture too. 1.Pet spaying-If most Filipinos will spay their cats and dogs there will be less homeless feral dogs and cats in the streets. If your monthly salary is about 10,000 pesos a month, it doesnt seemed like a harm if you will spay your cat or dog, yeah you will spend 400 up to 500 pesos but that is a long term benifit for your pet and a contribution to animal population control. 2.Litter boxes-Most Filipino cat owners just cross their fingers and wish their cat will learn to poop and pee outside, if they dont, they will get rid of the cat. I wish cat litter will be cheaper in our country and most cat owners in our country will learn to use a litter box. by far only upper middle class and rich filipinos uses a litter box for their kitties. 3.Comicbooks-well it used to be a part of our culture but our comicbook industry died and all the attempts to revived it failed. 4.Internet shopping-If most Filipinos are Internet shoppers,we will be on a higher tier list on those ptc's. Those paid surveys will see us as market. 5.Organic Farming!-I will have an EpicOrgasm if that thing happens, I want organic farming to be popular in our country but sadly it wont happen for now specially we already have a branch of Monsanto in our country.

i agree with the thing about cats being spayed/neutered plus the litter box issue. really wish they would lower the prices of the cat litter or at least introduce a better alternative. i've read in a forum that some people use palowina wood shavings as filler for their litterbox but havnt tried it. as for the comic book industry, i guess they just lack promotion or followups on the promotion. there are lots of good filipino comics out on the bookstores like Trese but go by unoticed because the people are very much unaware of them. internet shopping has been around the philippines for a while now, but probably not many people are actually familiar with them because a lot of people still prefer to shop on botiques and department stores and the like. i guess, again, this needs to be promoted :) organic farming is slowly inching it's way.. but i guess not many people are informed about its benefits that's why only a few are doing this. sure there had been a few features on this on the television but still i guess it's not enough. it would be nice to have fresh organic produce at a very affordable rate :)

a year ago i was actually looking for a way to spay my cat, i found two organizations that would do it for a small fee (if i remember correctly, it was 500php for males, 700 for females, an extra fee would apply if your cat is pregnant though), one was CARA and one was PAWS but unfortunately, i didnt have the time plus it's a bit far off from where i live, so it's really a pain to travel all the way to one of those places :( i wish they would have satellite clinics which could offer such a procedure and still with the same affordable rate. i guess the reason why organic farming isnt widespread because some companies want to monopolize the earnings *smirks* :)) just my opinion though

My vet, does it for only 400 pesos, both male and female, some vets in our country offers a cheaper service for spaying. I think it should be promoted more. so cats wont have to be over populated and more cats will have homes.

Network marketing, a western marketing concept invented in America by Amway. As the name of the company, American Way. It's the American way of doing business. Are you familiar with this concept?

I love those you mention. I hope we have them too even with ordinary houses. I hope our people will be disciplined too. I would also like o see a very organized way of disposing garbage. We lack discipline in waste disposal that is why our rivers are heavily polluted.

I know other countries have a good disposal system but people dont do it. they were cluttering everywhere. which is really shameful.

That is something I want to be ended here,I want our country to follow the trend of clean rivers. Look Japan manage to clean one of their dirty rivers.if they can do it, we should be able to do it. i think a good solution is to turn Pasic river into a Dam/power plant, That has been proposed many times.
